MS will not be the panecea for WOW. this merger will also be challenged in EU where MS has paid near or over $3bil combined in various fines over decades
imo. Xbox or any console won't be as successful, it's a false hope. WOW will have to go a FF direction when it comes to add-ons, along with automated assist/warn/target/kickbot scripts called weak auras. some of these would have gotten players banned in WOW long ago, blizzard has lost control of their game. ION saying...well...some addons are useful or need for those impaired. they don't want to block any at this time, means nothing is going to get done. blizzard said at end of SL they would no longer tune for the 1% and give up, DF proves they lied again. this will not fly if WOW is integrated into consoles and players are handicapped in doing anything above LFD/herioc dungeons, and raids above LFR. PC WOW is going to have to go thru changes along with blizzard removing/blocking scripts, and declaring war on alot of addons or designing forecasting into the game better, these will be viewed by console players as hacks sorta like a aimbot
