Master of the Turbulent Timeways Achievement

Hello there. I need some help or info on the “Master of the Turbulent Timeways IV” achievement. I a main anccount that’s unsubed and I have a starter account with an 11 fury twink. I got the achievement on my starter account twink. However, I haven’t received the Ta’readon’s Mount Voucher. It looks like it’s in the mail? Which I had no idea that’s how that was going to be awarded. So the problem I’m seeing is, even if I resub my main account, I can’t get that voucher to start the quest to get the 4 new mounts with Timewalking badges. Am I really going to have to buy a sub for my starter account if I ever want those 4 new mounts? I have done all the requirements to get the achievement on my main account too but that alt also hasn’t gotten the voucher. I think I’m screwed and I really hate blizzard for not making this known before I did it on my starter account. Thank you for any info.

If I understand you, you did the achiev on your trial account, and now can't open the mail. I'm also assuming these accounts are linked. If that's the case, and to the best of my knowledge, that is now locked to the character who earned it, and you may need to sub the trial for a month to get it. The amount of things this game doesn't tell you is indeed insane, but it's the situation you get when you outsource educating people to places like Wohead unfortunately.

I just did this on my Vet and same thing, it’s sitting in my Mail also.

I put a ticket in, asked if they could put it in my bags and the GM or AI bot directed me to a page that says if u can’t get mail then u need to sub up. Pr!cks…..

So sadly no way to get ur F2P token without sub’ing up.

At least I have a small chance if they give a free weekend…..

Not entirely unexpected, i've described the incoming problem at week one of event.
Ofc blz have the way to fix it, even without massive changes or gametime. Eg, certain blue mails can be read and even items from them can be looted. But will they? The only thing that really motivate them is shitstorm of certain amount.

What I’m also wondering is, if I don’t subscribe on my free trail starter account within 30 days will that voucher be deleted? Back when I had a sub on my main I remember all mail auto deleting after 30 days. If that voucher does get deleted that would mean I would be forever locked out of getting that quest line to ever get those mounts. I really hate blizzard.

Theres a mail restore feature. But it might be sub only

I don't know if unsubbed folks can restore things, but since restored items go into the mail it's a moot point.

I have a hunch that all the voucher mounts will be put on the vendor next time we get SL TW. All the other similar mounts wound up the same way. The free mount is probably off the table for us unless we get a free weekend soon, though.

I was watching a friend play on his paid retail toon, obtained his voucher from mail & claimed a mount. Then he went to the Cata TW vendor & saw all the other mounts are already available to purchase with TW badges (I think 5.5k badges).

Got me temporarily excited - I logged in my twink which has the achievement, but no luck, the mounts are not viewable at the TW vendor. Wowhead tooltip says mounts are level 30, so that's the end of it for us, just like some of the older mounts we can't even view at the previous expansions TW vendors. If not mistaken, the Jade Serpent mount from MoP TW is also similarly level 30 which we can't see.

They changed the lvl requirements for some of those mounts recently. The serpent mount can be bought and learned at lvl 10. You can only see it on the vendor when you are in Lorewalking.

I tempoarily subbed for one month to wrap up Legion Remix without F2P restraints. I can confirm blizz sends mounts via mailbox.

All F2P can do is hope for free weekend within 30 days so they can open their mailbox before it goes into the nether

Naturally, I had to check if these 4 new Covenant mounts are available from this week's TW vendor in LW mode, but they are not. Could it be they are a hard level 30 requirement, or perhaps only shows up after using a voucher to claim one?

Nevertheless, I am seeing 8 pages of items from the vendor in LW mode, compared to a paltry 3 pages in non-LW. This includes many armor pieces we can equip which only shows up in LW mode. I assume these items were always higher level ones before.
Edit: Some gear which looks scaled to our level turns out to still have hidden higher level requirement to purchase after all.

Yes, you have to do the voucher quest from the mail to see the other mounts that’s you can buy.

Every previous Turbulent Timeways mount has been available at vendors once event is over, if you can't retrieve the voucher right now you might be able to buy see and buy the mounts once the event is over.

Covenent recolored mounts are now available to buy at TW vendor. It must have been patched in the past couple days or so, as I could have sworn they weren't there at start of BC TW earlier in the week.

Well I’m glad to get them. Still sucks having to spend an extra 5k on one that should be free. I guess I can’t rage quit just yet. Ha.
