EU Looking for Old Naxx enchant!

Dolfie

Grandfathered
Looking for people who still have one or two of those ancient shoulder enchants.. I would love to buy!

I know my old GM has the actual enchant item that was suppose to be mine. Pretty sure he also has a bunch of the BoE's with them since he was one of the biggest sellers back in BC, but I was told they all became BoP.

They are all BoP unless already applied to an item and stored in a guild bank. Their worth is a very large unknown, as is their usefulness today and in the future. I am still interested here on the US side, so if anyone hears anything feel free to send them my way :)

Good luck over on EU @Dolfie

Thanks guys! What i've heard is that people could still enchant via trade to a low level character.. I'm not sure if that is fixed but a few yers back 2013-2014 it was still possible. This would make it about 300% less rare.. however still rare af.

@Blackout didn't you have Naxx enchants on some other account? Believe you showed it on stream once back in WoD. Can you confirm whether they are BoP or not at this point?

@Dolfie if they are BoP, then you would have to essentially buy an account with the character that has the Naxx enchants, have the player change his last name to yours through documentation, then link it as a family account, then enchant it on heirlooms (which is the only way now, no more enchanting through trade window), and send it to your desired character.

Seems like a lot of hassle. xd

WoW yeah... sounds like a lot of trouble... but might be worth it!!

Does anyone have screenshots of their Naxx enchants on their heirlooms after 7.3? i would love to see what stats they give atm.
Thx!

I do have them yeah, and the enchant itself is not soulbound. However it soulbinds the item it enchants to. As previously mentioned, the enchant needed to be applied to a BoE / White item back before the enchants caused the item to become soulbound. The change was made mid Wotlk.

Or find someone who has them like i do, get them to enchant the heirloom item you want and transfer the heirloom from his account to your account. Finding someone willing to go through all of that trouble with little to no understanding of it however is an issue for a buyer

The Enchant itself is soulbound.

Yes, they changed it to also make the item being enchanted soulbound, but the enchant itself is soulbound. If it wasnt you could just sell the enchant via trade.
I worded that poorly, i know that the enchant itself has always been soulbound, however it can still be applied and obtainable on other accounts through the methods i said in the last post

can confirm, 39s can use this same method for engi belt tinkers as well (bomb/nitro boots, usually can't apply 'em directly to your chars)

Would this method work for any level character? for example my 19?... in that case i need to get basicly every different engi enchant on belt and cloak asap.

wouldn't be beneficial for anything below 39, other than potentially for vanity. the mechanism behind this exploit, at least for tinkers, is the difference in engi level required to learn/apply them vs the engi level to actually use them
let's take nitro boosts tinker, for example. you can learn this from profession trainer at engi lvl 405. 39s can only hit 300 engi. yet, for whatever reason, the requirement to use the tinker is only engi lvl 250, which is within range of that which is obtainable by 39s
another example - goblin glider tinker. takes 550 to learn/apply, only 500 to use. 79s can hit 525 engi. so, with this bug, you can obtain that tinker as a 79
here's what a glitched belt looks like on a char w/o the required engi for tinker usage:

these tinkers can be applied/glitched onto BoP dung/raid drops as well, same for chants -- i.e., you can save massive amounts of gold (or obtain otherwise-unavailable chants) with very little effort
