Yes, here is my personal opinion on the places you should explore. (Assuming you're a gnome rogue)
Darnassus - Train Bows
Goldshire - Duels / or Sentinel Hill
Stormwind - Train Swords / FP
Ironforge - Deeprun Tram / FP / More people to show off to
Booty Bay - Boat to Durotar, don't explore ratchet or the river
Tiragarde Keep - WPvP
Felwood - Offhand (Don't actually explore Felwood, explore the cave)
