Items available to 29 but not 20.

Just premade with 5 people wearing this necklace, easy 500 HP/s for your group! I am totally looking forward to having all my 20's damage being negated by a single passive item

calm down there

1- The effect doesnt stack 2- When you die, the effect goes away 3- If you take off the pendant, the effect fades

A few of the interesting level 25 epics that dropped during my ilvl 28 farming days. Some might be decent if one is going for a particular build.

So fun watching people test stuff that I've tested months or years ago.

Last time I checked yes, it does still work. I've got it in my bags as we speak.

Will probably use it as a secondary shield in DF once prot becomes the better pvp spec.

this ring from northrend jc is pretty solid. :ez: 29s only :ez:

this helm from forge of souls is also decent with the socket bonus

I know someone linked it already but here's the 29 stats. I've gotten this on 2 diff 25 farming druids, 1 upgraded blue!!, and it's good because the secondarys are inflated like crazy. maybe worth a couple rerolls? well at least to blue. You basically have to do 2/3 of the quests in Icecrown to unlock the quest that has the mobs drop the intro quest so it's time consuming.

Couldn't decide where to put this:

Spellfire is bad if your spec values mastery, and questionable at best for the remaining cloth wearers

Even at 250 int, the bonus is not even +20 int. No tert. Low ilvl. It's bad, period.

Nope... pass. Looks good on you tho.

edit- so, in the spirit of totally effing up the bracket... are there scope thresholds that change from 20 to 29? I know 20 is very limited in what works and what doesnt, curious what changes moving up.

Just tested hemet's on a level 29 and the proc was 46 mastery (i think) but the critter did 0 damage. Even work at 20?

Also +dmg scopes went up to 5 on BoAs I had sitting around, as opposed to +2 for level 20? I think? Weird things like that might make BoA BiS since level req to apply are usually high (except the trade glitch).

None of it was groundbreaking killing ogres in frostwall... just interesting.

Might find some answers here:

Looks like Hemet's need ilvl33 to proc

Argh totally forgot about that page, thanks!

The +5 damage is one of the easiest scopes to get too... not sure about ICD on any of the proc scopes but had hemets refresh itself a few times and take forever to proc a few times. Xray scope did proc 56 AP, but the +5 damage just seems best to me.

Like I said, didnt do any significant testing just running around shooting ogres in WoD.

edit: found some more for min/max-ing (+4 is better than +2/+2 because you can max a particular stat)

edit: apparently this seems quite strong:

https://www.wowhead.com/spell=267537/coastal-surge

it's 80 per tick at 29 for 10 seconds, so you casually get healed for 800!

this provides 1 more stamina than the MoP leatherworking. but you need a higher level to apply (it doesn't bind the item)

I was looking through the trinkets you can obtain in dungeon finder last night. There is one that has a “Use” ability that provides a bubble for like 1,100-1,200 for 10-15 seconds (I apologize for not having the exact info) which could be huge in Arena. Also I noticed the gems stated above with +4 main stats. Which expansion gems are those? And I saw some +2/+2 Primary/Mastery gems in Cata that require ilvl 36. Leaves potential room to farm the hell out of Legion BoE’s with Mastery and stack way more Mastery than previously allowed. Will be interesting to see what people come up with. +4 Primary is probably best in all cases though
