EU+US Item Level Gear Still Good?

Just a question, I've been seeing a lot of people in armory not using the high ilvl stuff anymore, did they nerf it or something? I'm trying to gear my 19 lock but Idk how to gear atm lol. Should i gear towards ilvl, or is there a certain way to do it? Halp.

They nerfed it so that any gear that isn't your primary armor type (e.g. Cloth, Leather, Mail, Plate) doesn't count towards your stat template. So things like Mist-Piercing Goggles , which do not have any armor type, does not count towards your stats. If you are a leather wearer, Tuxedo Pants are no longer BiS, and you need to wear Leather instead.

The Rock x2 and Problem-Solving Pendant still seem to be BiS though.

I believe rogue has the most potential when thinking "currently" obtainable gear (Warforged invasion gear). Rogues will always be ahead because of the weapon changes (Jagged Wing Slasher / Sunstrider Axe - although u need to be a bit shady to obtain the axe), and the ilvl 100 mask which still counts towards the template since it's categorized as leather. They can get the fishing trinket x2 like everyone else as well obviously. This is my look on things at least.

you should be able to get it from a gm if u ask nicely tho, go back as a outlaw rogue and just say "its trying to give me a dagger i dont want"

I tried once, got denied, tried again, got denied, tried a 3rd time, got the same GM as 2nd time which was pretty rip. I get cucked hard on these things, idk. I even used some smooth angle about needing it for an RP set (EleGiggle). My next angle would be to hand in the quest, wait some time, say I sold the axe or something by mistake and that the website is spassing out, and it won't let me use the item restoration system. Something's gotta work man.

It's not.

Edit: Wowhead says it's available to Shamans and Death Knights. However, the quest is Blood Elf only, and last I checked, Blood Elves can't be shamans. However, have fun getting it on a lvl 19 DK ex dee.

I think they're still good until you get the fishing ones, I'm using them atm anyways.

People are also doing tons of invasions right now, so they may not be playing WSG and would probably be wearing wPvP gear.

For a lock, you'll want LFH, white neck/rings, and the best trinkets you can find (fishing when its available again, AGM, otherwise engy ones). Wand mainhand (the loser to 24 ilvl, the better - invasion is BiS), lily offhand. The rest of the slots would be warforged (ilvl 34) invasion gear, blue BG crate gear (ilvl 27), or regular invasion gear or heirlooms (ilvl 24).

Any wand provides super stats right now. The invasion one is the best one you can get (warforged, ilvl 34). The regular invasion wand is really good as well at ilvl 24. I don't know if there is an ilvl 27 wand from BG boxes, but that would be 2nd best.
