I know some of you guys have some crazy items that you hide from armory that gives a lvl 19 an item lvl of 61 and you really shouldn't hide it. Might as well come out with it. I recall I was on my 19 hunter pre-patch a few months ago and I saw a nude rogue running around with some crazy eng type of trinket equipped. I am pretty sure it had new stats on it(like versatility) but I am also pretty sure that at the time it did nothing for the user. I book marked her armory on my browser but I've since then got a new pc and lost it. It had to have an item lvl above 200 and the rogue had an eng skill of 1. I'd sure like to see these items that some are selfishly hiding. You can't fool me. I know for a fact there is ways to equip items above il 100 @ 19.

If there is a way, this site really was originally established as a means to share that information. Alas, those days are long behind us.

What Art said, some people have Outland satchel gear on their twinks

Most things these days aren't shared because it means they get patched faster so most people would rather keep it to themselves, however the item you are thinking of was patched a while back.

As if this fringe site is actually watched by Blizzard. It rarely has more than 150 people on at a time. At any rate, if the site would have a "premium" or upgraded section that would/could could fix this issue.

Think whatever you want, but information is not shared because people want the upperhand and will do anything to keep it. Even in a video game setting. It is just some people's nature when they are unchecked. Not that there is anything wrong with wanting an advantage. Just don't piss on my leg and tell me it's raining.

You really don't have much faith in the community..

Obviously after telling the community about some unintended glitch or exploit, it will spread faster than Kim K's legs, possibly making it visible to Blizz.

Our entire community of a few hundred? Couple thousand at the most? What a difference we could make.
Blizzard has bigger fish to fry.

It's not rocket science; 1 guy has some 400 ilvl trinket in the 10-19 bracket. Since XPOff and XPon is now merged there will be a constant flow of people, and if just a handful sees your gear, and you tell them how you acquired it, it will spread throughout the different brackets

I remember how quickly the talent exploit spread at the beginning of WoD. I noticed how many people went survival hunter when it was said that throwing axes are OP last week.....This site's influence on the wow player-base is not insignificant. Blizzard has many employees and if any of them enjoy twinking, or if any of them have noticed the countless times someone has been told to visit Twinkinfo.com or Xpoff.com in-game, it isn't too far-fetched to think a few Blizz employees read things on this site.

like they used to say, best way to get an exploit fixed is make a public release of it
