I don't understand why people can roll all these FoTm Classes or run completely unfair comps and have fun.

Can someone explain to me how Disc/Arms at 19 could be any fun? Or 29 Monks? Or even dueling people as feral and then talking shit? I just dont understand how someone can play something so obviously broken and have fun..

edit : Not a QQ thread, honestly dont understand the mindset behind these players.
 
I have played my 10 feral for a long long time. Just by chance they got buffed. You can have fun playing face roll classes and combos but the effect dies off soon enough. For example when entis quenched sword was available i purposely didnt get it on my 19 warrior. Wouldve been fun but he was powerful enough at the time. I had played that char for years and didnt plan to stop, but didnt want to get uber bored. Everyone has their reasons to play etc...

Edit: in saying that i do enjoy FOTM players being around, they add to helping get queues, allow many skirmish practises games to occur and buy the rares from ah at an inflated price ;)

People enjoy ganking, tanking, healing etc. What ever the class is they play is going to cater to what they find fun. Look back at the early BC / wotlk rogues, hunters and warlocks. Many still play the same class. Theyve always been a strong class where as others have suffered hits. For example i stopped playing warrior when we lost hamstring, shield bash, demo shout etc. These skills defined the way i played warrior. Having an interrupt / snare was what made us effective. Now i dont want to play them. Other people im sure prefer the simplicity of classes now by choosing a spec over spending talent points and not having to be so versatile.

Each to their own though.

I'm not asking why people play a class they ENJOY. im asking why some people choose to only play what is broken/overpowered at the time, then when that gets nerfed, they play the next overpowered thing.

For example, i have friends that im not gonna name, who play warriors NOT because they like em, but because they're op right now @ 19

Topping hk's and dps is probably a good time to them!..
 
90% the 2s comps I go against are disc arms

simple things, please simples minds. tbh said group of people are generally bad at the game and the only way to feel a sense of achievement in pvp is to play fotm.

Blame blizz for allowing such bs classes to exist and remain within wow.
 
Would you not understand a person using a wheelchair? Some people need things to enjoy life the same as a non-impared. Be glad if you don't.

Mainly the people who have too much time on their hands and are mainly garbage at playing normal classes so they chose a different one and are somehow not bored by re leveling everytime a new class gets buffed/nerfed. Plain and simple, it's really annoying and I don't see the fun in it.
 
It's a bully mentality which is NOT shared by all who twink. Remember, there were many who were upset about being quarantined with XP by Blizzard. Those are the types who aren't in it for the challenge and have headed to the starter bracket on their 29's.

If you play that bracket, take note of which players are the first to nerd rage at a loss or shout out insults to team mates. It's almost always a 29 who should be doing much better than they are. FOTM's are similar if less extreme/obvious. I've found myself rooting for the opposing team if my own team is stacked with OP's. On the flip side, it can be very satisfying to take down a 29 rogue with my 20 lock. Some of us apply our RL sense of sport to playing video games and some reinforce stereotypes.
