really gearing up shouldn't be this hard just grab all of the intellect mail quest rewards from dungeons and if there isn't one grab the leather/cloth equivalent, then proceed to fill in any missing pieces with dungeon gear(you can check which loot drops in a dungeon by using the dungeon journal)

what is BiS now will not be BiS when WoD drops. you need to keep that in mind.

for instance, right now Crystalline Cuffs or Cuffs of Black Elements are BiS, but in WoD, Sparkmetal Bracers will be BiS.
right now Corpse Rompers are BiS, but in WoD Savage Trodders will be BiS.
some people might opt for the leather caster gloves from the Cleansing the Caverns quest over the shoulders, since you're going to use heirloom shoulders eventually, BUT, in WoD, Skeletal Gauntlets or Algae Fists will be BiS...

at least that's the theory for now. we know that lvl 90+ gear will change attributes depending on your specs. what we DON'T know is if low level gear will do the same.
the above is based on the assumption that low level gear will switch also.

At the moment all signs point to low level gear NOT switching primary stats; it looks like most of the gear changes (with the exception of Hit/Exp/Dodge/Parry removal) will only apply to the new gear (based on this post). That's not to say BIS gear won't change, but I wouldn't count on the primary stats thing affecting F2P much, if at all.

I think he's referring to the emphasis on armor in the next expansion and choosing items that have more for that. Which is think is big for a healer and is often overlooked. If it was me I'd go with both leather +spirit rewards, Sandals of Sacrifice and Serpentis' Gloves. I wouldn't waste your reward on shoulders you will replace soon. Going oom happens from time to time, it's nice to have the option to up your spirit while still keeping leather armor values.

I have a sneaking suspicion that BoA gear will be changed to have these stats, we'll see though. If they dont see an overhaul i'll be very surprised. The current iteration is very clunky, especially moving from 80-81. The upgrade "feature" is patched together very poorly. Anyway, we'll see and this is all pretty off topic.

OT: Check the holy paladin guides... They're fairly accurate and easy enough to find in the f2p section.

Honestly, gearing up in WoD will be much more straightforward since we won't have as many difficult choices to make, due to starting out with heirlooms rather than having to farm them on a per-toon basis.
