Help me pick a healer

I'm trying to decide on a healer class to play with my hunter partner. I was leaning paladin for BOF and what i figure to be strong single target healing. Is there a better option to pair with a hunter? It would be nice to have a healing class that also could do a little damage during downtime.

Sounds like a pally would be great to pair with a hunter for all the reasons you've stated. They're super tanky at that bracket im sure too.

I agree with the post above me. You'll want something to peel off the hunter. I'd say druid/sham personally since that will allow you to chain frost shock or root. With pally you are stuck with a stun every 20 secs (not sure what the actually cooldown is offhand).

Dont you ever be a partner with a huntard! Huntards are selfish and they will let you die in battle.
Pick a friend who is not a huntard.
