I was just goofing off doing Nesingwary quests as a Horde in Zuldazar. I was at the end quest and this 1H was offered (was offered as a blue, not epic). I forget the stats for the non-epic for level 10, but I think the DPS was in the high 2s or low 3s. I completely forget after it proc'd epic. Maybe one of you can do it and post it here for others. This is the screenshot I just took.

It wasn't difficult to get, you just have to slug through the quests... pretty much one-shotting everything. Happy hunting!

...wondering if I should keep my existing waist. I will lose 3 STR, but gain 7 armor, 2 crit, 6 sta, and 5 vers.

Yes. I just now finished questing. I think I exhausted all available quests except the one where I collect scrolls across the zone. It was easy because I pretty mucg one or two shot everything. In summary, I had two epic upgrades to 59 and one to 39.
 
Do you check up what quest gives rewards etc or you just do all the quests you come across?
Wanna start doing this, getting tired of dung spam to get my wf
 
In all honesty, I was doing quests thinking I was going to unlock warfronts so I could go to Kul Tiras and travel to Waycrest Manor to get the 1H that drops there...instead of queueing. After I got the wrist upgrade, I decided to start questing. Within in an hour, I got the 1H. This morning I got the waist. I went to other places to quest for a shield...I focused on blue drops, hoping for an epic proc...but none happened so far. I started the Azshara line to get the blue shield, but it is like an 80-quest line.

It helps that I can smash everything.

Here is a list of questable gemmed armor in TBC...I'm assuming only the Zangar and Hellfire zone ones are obtainable.

That's what someone else posted. The blue drops (outside of WoD dungeons) can upgrade, but not to epic.

My Paladin's BP was an epic upgrade.

I just found this from the 8.1.5 patch notes:

  • All Quest rewards from Classic through the Warlords of Draenor expansion now have a chance to upgrade up to Epic quality.
    • Item-levels of Rare and Epic quest rewards in Classic through Warlords of Draenor have been increased slightly in some cases.
    • Unique items that drop from rare enemies in Classic through Mists of Pandaria content now also have a chance to upgrade in quality.

How did you get to Zuldazar? Summons? Ive run every quest in Kul Tiras on Alliance side that it will give me, and I get no option to go to Zuldazar. I have the ! on the scouting map, but no quest on it when I look at it.

I was Horde when I did the quest. I did something I haven't done in many years...paid for a faction change. There is an equivalent type of quest that is northwest of Boralus.

So you were able to get there through questing?
