The Rock is bis ring at ilvl 60. If you're not fond of using white gear, then Argas comes in second at ilvl 32 and then GF'd rings Seal of Wrynn at 31 and Seal of Sylvanas at 29. If you want to wear your ring for swag points, go for it, you may lose 1-2 stam but fuck it. Swag.

As far as I've seen Prot is pretty shit and doesn't bring much to the table.. iirc all tank specs take more damage aswell.

No, SF is not BiS main-hand. At least currently. BiS would be the cosmetic sword/axe from the warcraft movie. Other than that, just 27 ilvl one-hand from BG crate or heirloom.
