I have a 19 lock with gf'd gear including jutebraid and the original +20 shadow power among other things. I will not level an old 19. Actually, I wonder if that enchant was dropped to +9.
I tried logging in with the new vet stuff, but my vet's would be behind. Gear is outdated, and it would take time to catch up.

Never level twinks, especially gf'd ones. I just levelled some BiS p2p 20s to 29 when wod came (3 toons, all of them had bis 20, LFHs, agm etc). I hardly play them at 29 but definitely would have if I had them at 20 veteran mode. I don't know how I should feel about this.

No I would never level. I made this mistake once on a 10 hunter and still regret it. Old chars I thought I'd never be able to play again became playable with changes in the game many times over the years. Once you level it's virtually impossible to go back.

The fact that all the work that has been put into those toons is pretty much in vain. How'd you feel to log on to your 20 shammy some day and find out its 21? or 29? 30?

I liked leveling my gf'd toons to 100, didn't wanna waste time making a new toon.

How would feel if I accidentally leveled a 19, 20 or 29? Just start another one. It is quite simple. Gold is plentiful. Enchants are easy to obtain. I have no emotional attachment to my toons. They are not real.
You have to realize, I am a bit more seasoned than the majority of WoW players. ie. old, mature, venerable...
To the OP, I leveled my original 29 back in tBC to become my main endgame playing toon because my guild needed a Resto shaman. And it still is my main to this day. In fact, my one and only endgame toon.
I have never regretted leveling any of my twinks. They are just pixels, they are not real. The sooner you realize this the better off you will be.

You would simply not feel anything? Not a minor feel of annoyance due to having to start over, get gear for all 3 specs all over again, having to fish multiple weekends for LFH, grinding for AGM, grind dozens of dungeons for the right satchel loot, not to mention some gf'd shit that can't even be acquired anymore. Sounds pretty thick to me m8.
Toons are just pixels, they are not real, but the time you have spent gearing and perfecting them is most certainly real. Also, the fact that grandfathered 29 twinks have been sold for over one thousand dollars... But you're right, it's just pixels. Just like mona lisa is just old paint, some wood and cloth. Oh well, you're the guy playing lvl 20 p2p in WoD for "scaling", what should have I expected
