For those of you who are trying to farm Azerite as efficiently as possible - make sure you kill https://www.wowhead.com/npc=153205/gemicide whenever he's up. He may drop a Radiant Azerite Matrix, which is worth 1000 Azerite, in addition to his usual 100 per Mechagon rare. I've killed him about 12 times, and looted it 3 times - so it's definitely not a guaranteed drop.
Proof, recorded 30 minutes ago. WM is off (if you're only farming Azerite in Mechagon, I recommend it so you don't have to worry about faction tagging the rares), however I've had it drop with WM on as well. Neither WM on or off guarantees the drop (I've had it not drop with either).
You can get to Mechagon by flying - it's NW of Drustvar. Alternatively, you can be summoned by a warlock, or with the Mechagon dungeon summoning stone. Edit: You can even waterwalk/swim - there is no fatigue meter.
https://www.wowhead.com/npc=153205/gemicide is the rare that spawns from Drill Rig DR-JD99. This means he will only be available when it's Drill Rig day in Mechagon, and not every day.
In case you are not aware, all Mechagon rares can be looted once per day for 100 Azerite, two mounts (from https://www.wowhead.com/npc=152182/rustfeather and https://www.wowhead.com/npc=151934/arachnoid-harvester) and zone-specific items that are useless to a sub-120.
