US GCTL Winter 2017 WSG League $450

if any1 watched the US 19 3v3 gold tourny yesterday you'd know arenas at 19 has a low skillcap

I personally think that people whom are bashing other people for arena or bgs are idiots.. In BGs you have a much bigger team than 3, which means you can make a few more mistakes and still come out on top. Doesn't mean you have less skill or anything, it's just a bigger team of players that can make up for a few mistakes. In 3v3 arena, there isn't nearly as many players (obviously), so making a mistake is a bigger consequence that could end up costing you that match. Again, skill level is irrelevant. CLEARLY people on xpoff are very passionate over the BG side of things, while others are for arenas. Which is fine, whatever, you do you. But why do we gotta be so hostile towards each other about it lmao. People like bgs, fine. People like arenas, fine. Skill level is irrelevant when it comes to twinking. Both have the same idea of what to do. Line up some sort of CC, focus 1 down, move on. When it comes down to it, BGs are pretty much giant arenas with objectives. THAT'S just how i see things anyways, keep bashing it out tho, it's kinda fun to read. Oh and I am not a legion twink btw, just was some random shitter twink that wasn't heard of until legion. kappa

arenas are incredibly vanilla and comp based at lower levels due to the limited amount of cc/healing in the bracket
bgs however arent based on comp and completely based on team synergy and if one person fucks up it does make a massive difference - look at any previous tc and youll see poor positioning etc fucks u real bad

eh there's still more room for mistakes is what im saying. poor positioning with cc heavy comps in arena fucks you real bad too :p
 
I wanna play im not scared of anybody I will run penitent and not let a single good player die. FYI noobs only reason I ran schism in past 10v10s is bc I knew 100% for a fact going into the match I would have bad dps on my team (still healed and bubbled when it mattered tho bc I can cancel casts+switch to heals/dps as fast as the gcd+latency will allow me). Knowing I have good dps on my team allows me to spec/play healer heavy aka run penitent. So if there are real players out there who want to form a team to face "gsc" and have an actual good game im all for it. Alli disc get @ me let's make this happen.

Also bgs and arenas are the same exact thing. You spawn into the enclosed area, one is larger than the other. Both have LOS opportunities. Both require coordinated efforts.

@Hotpocketx how are bgs in 2017 boring? Positioning is punished harder now more than ever due to the pruning and increased numbers being thrown around making it the most fun when two good teams play eachother. One sided games have always been boring. Legion meta (10-19+20-29) doesn't allow as much room as past xpacs for individual players to carry other's mistakes and shortcomings making good wsg games that much more fun.
