US Gauging interest from 59s in starting up on a single Classic WoW server

Well, so that didn't work.

I'm going to bring up something that might seem crazy at first, but could be crazy enough to work...

it's time for plan B - joining up on classic WoW. I think the majority of us have been planning to play it anyway, and if there's one thing we all share it's a desire for glory and being the fucking BEST.

So what are your thoughts on coordinating and rolling our 60s on a single, agreed-upon server so that we can create founding pvp guilds, and lead the charge into Classic endgame pvp?

And yes, we had our rivalries, but we can all agree that at the end of the day, we had fun playing together, and we'll be bummed we can't do that anymore.

I've already spoken to a few people in the community, and I've garnered that there's definitely interest. I suppose now I just want to hear if anyone has any thoughts on this, if it could work, why/why not, etc.

Regardless, thanks to everyone I pvped with now and back in BC-wotlk times. I had an amazing time. Fuck Blizzard.

TLDR: I think we can contain every 59, and possibly even other brackets, within a founding guild/s on a server of our choosing.

We have like 680 members Horde side on BiS. We can’t get 10 v 10 going on at like 9pm eastern to 11pm eastern daily?

Yeah i spoke to a couple of 59s tonight and I don’t think we’d have an issue getting games to pop all it takes is for people to actually log on and que, we’ve got the numbers on both side!!

Awesome! Lethalis will be on Hordeside. I’ll try to get as many as I can to Q 9pm
 
I intend to squeeze as many games out of this situation as possible. But I was there for the last twinkocalypse and remember folks slowly fading away and moving on.

What makes me pessimistic is, we were mostly all online on Patch day and were queuing up like crazy to test all the new changes and everything... but even with our whole army in queue we couldn’t get a single game. Outside of organized games I remain doubtful our bracket will thrive in this state.

The point of this thread isn’t to give up, but instead to carry on as best we can in the short term, with a goal of staying together in the long run.

Petrolx thanks for the info. I’m at work but wanna check out what you got so far.

This is also less about making 59s and more about having the power to do whatever we want in a founding guild of our creation. We can show up on the fresh server, create the guild and begin the migration. 60s, 19s, 29s. Raids, pvp. Wpvp events. With the 59 community at the core of its ranks. Maybe I’m just dreaming
