I'm making myself a prot warrior and I have seen a lot of toons with Freehold cloak with socket. Also toon in my group got Harlans dice with socket.
My question is if https://www.wowhead.com/item=159633/sharkbaits-fishhook?bonus=6516 can get socket proc?

Ur Prot is looking good.
Yes. Everything in BFA dungeons can proc sockets and also tert stats.
Trying to get both is tricky.
Keep trying and good luck.

Ofc it can as Icehawk said it can also proc with stats like speed/leech/avoidance and since it is the first boss in the dungeon you can easely solo it as warrior (maybe as fury / arms not as prot). Good luck farming.

Since this topic is about BfA stuff I guess I'll ask this here: I can get an item with both a socket AND leech proc right? I've been farming Kragg for a long time and have gotten several capes with just the socket, making me question whether it's possible.

legion dungeons arent currently dropping gear at all at our level. But when they were, no the gear wasnt upgrading.

There's a whole post running around here somewhere that categorizes gear based on what can and cant upgrade, but at this point in the xpac if you arent seeing it in peoples armories, it doesnt proc a socket.
