There is no level requirement on it.

So my guess is, Yes they get to keep the stats.

Before you could get it and it would be BoE and you would just send it to your 1.

Oh, they changed that back in a patch right after they added battlegrounds, like 1.6 or something...way back in 2005 / 2006



Long before twinking was huge and certainly before level 1s were considered. I guess it's possible though on some account there is a banker with one long forgotten

i knew a lvl10 rogue who had http://www.wowhead.com/item=8176 he was just a bank alt and had no idea the value of this.



he said i dont know what happened, a long time ago i made some with my tailor main and sent to bank alt and one equipped.....

That has a level requirement on it so it wouldn't have any effect on the character to begin with.

Father flame on the other hand... has no level req.
