F2P Monk Build so far looking for advice

you should chase better gems, either do bgs or warmode crates for honor and from there buy 5x mark of honor from https://www.wowhead.com/item=225739/algari-distinguishment or https://www.wowhead.com/item=185834/orboreal-distinguishment and buy gems from https://www.wowhead.com/npc=12793/brave-stonehide - you can get +3agi and +2agi/+2crit gems from here

alternatively, you can do northend jewelcrafting guide here - https://xpoff.com/threads/lvl-20-f2p-gems-and-jewelcrafting-guide.95274/ . note, you will be locked into jewelcrafting/alchemy for potentially a month in order to do the daily transmutes

you should try for a socket cloak from one time loot BFA rares from here - https://autocrit.github.io/BfA_rares/ . note, you must enter lorewalking in order to loot the rares in the higher level zones. you may also get socketed rings from there and optionally bracers from there as well. if you dont get a socket prock off on cloak off bfa rares then the only other good option is farming daily apexis rares that drop agility cloak, for example - https://www.wowhead.com/npc=87352/gibblette-the-cowardly . note, WOD apexis rares are dropping ILVL 20 but can upgrade ilvl 23 and 26 AND prock socket (and other tert stats)

other pieces you should go for is
socket prock on your helmet
socket prock necklace with preferred secondary stats
socket prock bracers from magisters terrace ( https://www.wowhead.com/item=34602/eversong-cuffs ) (optional as its you need to get summoned into MT) or another socket procked bracer with decent secondaries
socket prock belt (https://www.wowhead.com/item=28124/liars-cord)
botanica boots - https://www.wowhead.com/item=28339/boots-of-the-shifting-sands
socket prock ring, good option - https://www.wowhead.com/item=9447/electrocutioner-lagnut
trinkets, https://www.wowhead.com/item=113024/reliable-threat-assessor , https://www.wowhead.com/item=77530/ghost-iron-dragonling socketed with your desired secondaries , theres many options for trinkets

Slightly off topic but I'm wondering if it makes sense for both Brew and WW to stack haste? With base 8-10% haste from regular gear they both feel sluggish as hell as energy regen is too slow to maintain rotation without downtimes, maybe capping it to 30% should make it more dynamic?

I'm currently running at 15-17% haste for both specs, and the rotation already feels so much better.
Still need to wait for the occasional energy pooling, but I think its par for level 20 especially after getting spoilt by fast energy regen (inc ferals and roques) in Lemix that feels almost akin to retail 80.

For Windwalker, Blackout Truncheon helps immensely since it procs constantly.
So much so that I'm tempted to use equip this and another OH for Brewmaster in place of a 2H; the haste buff could possibly make up for the dps loss..

You def want to go w/ 2 1h'ers instead of a stout polearm or staff.
https://www.wowhead.com/item=27846/claw-of-the-watcher , https://www.wowhead.com/item=29348/the-bladefist & https://www.wowhead.com/item=28311/revenger are fairly easy to get.

Great suggestions. So many one-handers with cool proc effects, as compared to staff / polearms that are pretty much static stat sticks.

I'm only now just finding out that weapons equipped in OH slot have proc rate reduced by about 50%, assuming that is still true. Looks like gonna have quite some fun testing out which MH+OH combo that works best.
