Pure f2p already can't use the XpOff mechanic. (we can but it restricts us from doing BGs)

I feel compelled to point this out:

Blizzard pulling this mechanic in current xpac content means theyre aware that its ripe for abuse and that their solution is to simply nuke it, rather than make it work better.

So those of you dorks who are prone to exploiting this mechanic to glitch into leveler BGs had probably better stop, if you care at all about twinking outside of vet/f2p/xpac capped brackets. Because if blizz keeps getting reports, it looks like they'll just take it away entirely.

Not GF'd, XPOff still works in all XPac's except SL. What they're trying to do is make it so that IF you step foot onto any SL Zone, your XP gets turned on and cannot be disabled. That means RIP 49's doing Covenant Rep.

Ironically, Blizz is shooting themselves in the foot because if they push even more Players away from Retail then they lose even more potential for purchases since Classic has most of that disabled. While we may not be a massive Community, Twinks spend a shot load of money in WoW with multiple Accounts, multiple Faction changes, buying Tokens on other Realms to buy BiS items to then pay to xfer a 10+ back to their home Realm, etc.

Isn't that annedoctal? I mean, the same could be said for Multiboxing and they also got nuked.

Tbh, I think the casual player experience in levelling Battlegrounds would be far better if twinks did not exist - but we are an unstoppable force of nature, facing against an immovable Blizzard object again and again...

Just wanna point out that this is mostly to prevent those boosting chars that pops up at the start xpacks, and I think those chars are bad for the game which is why I am for this
