Just saw this when I got on my phone. I’m still newer and figuring the game out but I just hit cp 160 and got hooked up with some gear. Always down to PvP. Currently playing Magplar.

Sick. Since you're 160CP I can help you gear as well.
I am also pretty close to being a master crafter, so I can craft a great deal of the sets for you. (I have about 5 months to go until I learn how to craft everything). I currently main a magicka Necromancer, But I play every class at endgame & am strong enough to enter trials on most of them.

Me and Sail just finished doing some PVP and we tore it up tonight. I had a 42-0 game & a 48-0 game. Probably the best I have ever done TBH. We'd love to have someone else tag along for BGs, WPVP or dungeons. I can tank/heal/dps, whatever is needed.

I convinced Sail to finally get it, he said you played as well. I mainly play with Khar, but I got some other friends playing as well. Would like to get a group going.

Could you give me a general idea or 5/10 minute tutorial video of what the gameplay looks like, the goal to the game, what customization features it has, etc? I've heard a lot about it, and I already have so many games that I haven't been playing and I'd hate for ESO to be another one. But I've heard good and bad since its been out and im really curious to whether or not I should pick it up while its still on sale.

I've seen the base-game on sale for as low as like, $3 on steam...Which is an absolute steal. I'll try to find a video for you, but given the nature of MMOs, it wont be likely that I find something that sums up the game in 5-10 minutes.

This is a recent one I watched. 15 minutes. Should cover a great deal of things.

Something I cant stress enough, is that you can play any class, any way you'd like.

Sorcerers (mages) can tank or heal. They could even be built for melee and play a lot like an enhancement shaman. The possibilities are endless, since you aren't limited to just your class abilities.

    It's a PVE dad game

PVP is very casual with BGs / Cyrodiil (wvw map control) being entirely a time investment ladder.

If by this you mean its a casual-friendly game, then you'd be right.
ESO is extremely casual-friendly and that's a great thing about the game.

Edit: I am about to stream some BGs if anyone wants to check em out.

I’m still newer but they have BGs for levelers that are seperate from endgame. I’m pretty sure I’ve heard of twinking on it before.

There is no way to turn experience off sadly. However, its pretty easy to be geared when leveling through

Too bad you boys are not on ps4, I moved to ESO a couple of months ago. Not really looking for a MMO, but rather to scratch my Elder Scrolls itch (best high fantasy setting IMO).

After clearing Morrowind content I decided to finally do pvp (at around level 25) and I was instantly hooked, for a game that is so casual friendly, the pvp is way more interesting than any other MMO I've tried.

Someone asked if you can twink, while you can't turn xp off, you can craft gear that will give you a great advantage, enough to carry pretty much most games depending on your spec. However, you won't be the only one doing it as people who are leveling and understand how the game works would have crafter gear as well, in which case your advantage comes from knowing which sets benefit your spec (or whatever niche you choose to play) and farm/craft them.

The difference between level cap bg and low level bg is huge, I was not planning on twinking until I realized how low the TTK is for level cap. Low level bg has a better pace and allows for more strategy, for comparison: ESO level cap bgs TTK = WoW 20s bracket as an outlaw rogue with grandfathered engineering. ESO below 50 bg is very similar to WoW 80s bracket.

That being said, level cap bg is still very enjoyable, it also has more skilled players (which is always good). However, bad players can easily be carried by their gear, its just a different game.

Just don't be a dick making a full premade on below 50 pvp, if you ever plan on twinking.
