Fcing as Resto or Guard, or even Feral, obviously hold 3 diff gearing standards and playstyles. Since druids are very versatile, u should make ur gear around u, u dont need armories and uve been in the bracket long enough to know all the items, theres the scaling index for items u may not know. Resto probably suits most people the best and its the easiest to fc as. U can choose to maximize stam with a good amount of int, or trade more int for stam and probably get similar results either way. Guardian fcing , unfortuantly with the changes in wod guardian fcing is just sub-par, they take more dmg than resto or feral would. But the challenge is still as fun to manage crossing the field and fcing alone with limited heals on urself and mana. If u dont mind losing sometimes just because of circumstances and u want to really get a grasp for fc'ing, guardian is the way to go. Feral holds similar principals to guardian but adds in some more dps for survival and they are better at getting the flag thru defense as well. So pick one or try each one, then depending on how u are doing base ur gear on what u see u need to succeed more. I suggest for guard / feral that if u have a full stam set with cloth peices u switch it out for a more armor based set once u have a healer around u.
Also, dont speed pot, thru patience an opening will always spring up, even if u have to make it. Speed potting with the flag is basicly saying " i am trapped and u have out-played me, but im going to use a consumable to level the playing field" U may win more games but u'll never proceed to truly understanding what solo fc'ing is about.
As far as jumps go, nobody is good at jumps from the start, it takes a lot of practice. They are very helpful but can be a double edged blade for ppl who use them over zealously. Know when to jump and know when to stay with ur team. Also always try different things, innovation is the key to fun and becoming a better fc. Even if it doesnt actually accomplish anything, mixing things up will confuse the enemy and when they are confused they will make more mistakes or over commit somewhere u are not. Lastly, DO NOT SCRIPT JUMPS, it ruins the whole idea of jumps and using them. For those who don't know scripting a jump is when u use some software on a gaming mouse or whatever to macro a perfect jump sequence so u will never mess up a wall jump. Same idea as the past paragraphs, winning is pointless if u arnt doing it wholesomely. Its a freaking video game, why would u have to resort to dirty methods just to win at it...
