Drillborer disk vs skullflame shield?

Hey so as title says what would you say is better to use? Both have me intrigued but unsure, what procs more often, Drillborer hits harder according to tooltip but Skullflame is aoe.
I play paladin if that effects anything
If you recommend any other shield please mention below

Looked on wowhead, even check the armory lists of every paladin and warrior to check shield but didnt look like it scaled very high.
No idea what my sp will be like, going for vers mainly

Lightfall beat me to it. Definitely check the tooltip for current spellpower scaling.

Edit: even going for vers, you'll likely see at least 500 healing off a proc.

They are both very strong choices I use them both interchangeably on my prot pally. However the skullflame is typically the better choice in most cases.

69 Holy Paladin and mine is still around 720 lifesteal with power scaling. It can crit also if your lucky. It’s only 3% but prob bis besides bg vanguard shields or loom.
