Dragonflight Darkmoon Profession Quests

On the topic of Professions, it's also worth noting that Racial bonuses to professions were also nerfed as of Nov 15th (Prepatch phase 2):

Cultivation (Tauren Racial) - Reduced from 15 to 5
Arcane Affinity (Blood Elf Racial) - Reduced from 10 to 5
Better Living through Chemistry (Goblin Racial) - Reduced from 15 to 5
Pride of Ironhorn (HM Tauren Racial) - Reduced from 10 to 5
Ancient History (Nightborne Racial) - Reduced from 10 to 5

Gourmand (Pandaren Racial) - Reduced from 15 to 5

Gemcutting (Draenei Racial) - Reduced from 10 to 5
Engineering Specialization (Gnome Racial) - Reduced from 15 to 5
Flayer - (Worgen Racial) - Reduced from 15 to 5
Jack of All Trades (KT Racial) - Reduced from 5 to all, to 2
Mass Production (DI Dwarf Racial) - Reduced from 25% Blacksmith speed to 10%

Also, Darkmoon Firewater + Fizzy Apple Cider are no longer as effective as before, as a new secondary, called Deftness was introduced in DragonFlight. I don't have the exact numbers, but the difference is clear when gathering.

in legion where professions were gated to quests, etc. there started to be alot of talk and in guides to do DMF religiously, blizzard jerked hard and reduced DMF +skill quests to zero. was reverted sometime into BFA.

lower levels get ganked, players working on previous 8 expacs and base WOW, based on 10 levels of a new xpac.

F2P really did not have much advantage with max leveling a majority of the professions (except for Classic Alchemy or Mists/Cata Enginering [which may not be as useful with the ilvl19 ghost iron dragonling just as a stack stick since the dragonling damage was nerfed with DF]; minus achievement for maxing out a profession or such), the main usage is switching professions during Darkmoon Faire to max one's reputation with the rotating the DMF profession turn-ins or to acquire all the useable items via tokens.

None of the post-Classic professions require having learned the previous expansion profession but for the Classic ones. For example, if one had Classic cooking, then could train any of the cooking in a different xpac and the last one learned was the one that got the DMF boost.

You can still unlearn the profession, pick up classic version and then pick any expansion you are trying to max out over time.
