From the 'start' ? Exotic beasts is baseline right now at lvl 39. I didn't read anything there that would suggest a lvl 39 baseline ability is going to be a sub-20 baseline ability. Especially since chops is saying that nothing has really changed in terms of baseline ability level requirements.

Baseline just means abilities you get while leveling that aren't talents. They still have level requirements.

The problem is, theyre goofy as shit. So when you take a spec, that specs pages are empty and only start filling in as you fill up the spec tree. But they other specs have just ass loads of random spells and abilities that seem like visual leftovers from before the tree re-vamps.

Trust, if they were useful, I'd have posted them. Theyre a confusing mess right now.

my curiosity was wondering if there were spells theyd consider baseline for a specific spec that they didnt put in the talent tree.

It would be very weird of them to do that, but I didnt want to just assume.

SL is currently inaccessible solo (it hasnt been rescaled to 10-60 yet and isnt currently available via chromie) so i'd need a summon out there. And even then, it hasnt been touched so... anything we tested would likely drastically change when they get around to scaling it, so probably best to just wait till after then.

Understood, the “thank you” part still stands tho. :)

Just to connect to the SL part, are we even sure that SL will be part of chromie time? I remember (disclaimer: my memory is apparently REALLY shitty!) that bfa will remain the “base” chromie time, so im not sure they’ll bother with rescaling SL.

I think people are conflating two separate interviews here and its leading to some confusion.

They have said that they are going to rescale every expansion to be level 10-60.

They have also said that BFA is the intended leveling expansion for new players.

What I take from this is that F2P accounts simply wont be able to access Chromie Time and thus will continue to go from exiles reach into BFA content. Nothing about this will fundamentally change from how we currently experience this. This is how it works now, its how it will work in DF

Veteran accounts might be able to (via chromie time) choose to go into SL content after reaching level ten. Whether this is "threads of fate" style, or its story style and you get like... the Maw intro and Bastion(?) remains to be seen.

I think it will also mean that while F2P cant get to SL content solo, we likely will be able to be summoned there with no real problem.

No, BFA is going to remain the no chromie time expansion. If you dont have Chromie, you will get BFA and you have no choice in the matter. If you have chromie you can go whereever you want.
