EU+US Data collection : which class is the fastest ?

Throaway

Grandfathered
For farming purposes I've been wondering which 101 class/spec can move the fastest.
using +speed gear on 101 is more effective than using it at 110 right ?

I would need your help :

1-remove all gear with +speed on it
2-copy this macro :
/script print(string.format("Current speed: %d%%", GetUnitSpeed("player") / 7 * 100))
3-move forward and hit the macro and report the value with your spec there
4-if you have an ability that increase your speed with no cd use it (for instance the rogue that can be almost all the time with a sprint effect I believe)

I'll report results on this post

If you have an idea on which one is the fastest on feet feel free to say
I expect to see something like : dh>monk>druid>rogue>hunter>warlock>...

thanks

so far

1.Havoc DH : 202-230% (with no speed gear)
2.druid : 146% (with blink and a dash left for use)

Havoc can hit the harcap for passive movement speed which is 230% (240?).

On my low geared I was already sitting at 202%.

+72 speed rating = 2.36%
+308 speed rating = 7.97%
+424 speed rating = 9.95%
+496 speed rating = 11.00%
+741 speed rating = 13.84%
+2608 speed rating = 22.11%

Explains why you beat my DH in run speed XD I don't have any pieces with +speed

The thing with Arcane mages is, they keep up with Druid speed if played perfectly. There is a huuuge learning gap with memorizing Nelth to a T and using arcane barrages correctly, timing your invis's to be used at the right time, like at 2nd boss, you have to zone in and get going right away if you want the patrol to be in the right spot to not aggro when you position yourself to pull 2nd boss.

Your only looking at one tiny factor on the speed of characters. Abilities that give speed increases that stack with base run speed, blinks which I know you mentioned but what about disperse to accomplish some goal like Nelth waterfall chest or one after 2nd boss to get back across the pond to backtrack after looting chest. There are so many factors that you would just to have get the best players of each class to test a set amount of things as fast as they can do it and comparing data

well I think the demon hunter is the clear winner despite a decent monk for leather classes

what about for cloth/mail/plate ?
