Darkmoon Faire already active.

So I logged into my druid today and he was still on DMF, and I just stayed on the DMF.

This means maybe even a 2nd chance for the loot from the Blight Boar boss (he spawns, I couldn't solo him).

No way to get there unless a player stays logged out all month and logs in just these two days beforehand.

I remember this happened to me once, but the Darkmoon Faire was completely empty. No NPCs at all.

Same for me. Maybe the Blight Boar boss is bugged

The Blight boar boss spawns and it has the right loot attributes (being rare), but I can't solo kill it.

I would like to check if it actually resets if I do kill it, but alas.

This is true. Only the Blight Boar boss seems to spawn, no dailies, some quests though (non-repeatable ones).
