Now honestly, he put a s**t ton of work into his lists, please bring them back! One of the most informative threads on TI and they aren't here?

F2p only? Or f2p linked to a p2p account?
Anyway you can get achievement ones like Explorer's tab (exploring Northrend can be done on f2p), Achiever's tab (25 tabs can be done on f2p), Competitor's tab (if you played a bg in 2008 I think it was during summer olympics needs p2p linked), Lorewalker's tab (for no lifers needs p2p linked), Illidari tabs green/purple (highlvl quest needs p2p linked)
I think that's all can't think of anymore tabs.

might need some fixing but i did this for a friend awhile back mostttttt of these should be obtainable in f2p ways

Actually, f2ps cannot get the following Tabards:
Honor Hold / Thrallmar (rep gain up to 2999 Neutral only in non-instance world)
Ogri'la (rep gain via dailies only)
Any Cata tabards
Apron (high level quest req)
Order of the Awakened (quartermaster in phased area)
Ebon Blade (quartermaster in phased area)
Kirin Tor (unless you're a mage)
Tabard of Conquest (linked f2ps only)
Loremaster's Colours (linked f2ps only)
Grandfathered:
Wyrmrest Accord
You can also technically get the following Tabards with enough time (i.e. years of grinding random weekly dungeons):
Anglers
Tillers
Order of the Awakened Serpent
Shado Pan Assault
Honor Hold / Thrallmar (rep gain up to 2999 Neutral only in non-instance world)

How does one get the Kirin Tor tabard again? Can it be mogged by non mages after obtaining? Also, same question for Tabard of The Hand.

Mages are automatically friendly with Kirin Tor, so all you have to do is to visit the Kirin Tor Quartermaster to buy it. You can't mog it though - req level 68 like the other Wrath tabs.
Tabard of the Hand --> you have to be a draenei and complete the entire Bloodmyst Isle questing to the point where they hail you as a hero. Velen will then appear at Blood Watch and give you the tabard.
