no, quest items can only proc in ilvl and rarity, with a stat boost to boot. The items you are referring to were the items that drop from the anniversary event that's taken place in the last 2 years that procs warforged an extra stat or a ring, or all 3.

I have those items from anniversary with socket, not those I'm talking about.

A friend of mine at 90+ Got his cloak with epic poc and socket from a quest.

As tbc and wotlk has items with sockets I thought they also could proc on quest items.

Don't mix anniversary epics with this.

Wod+ stuff has always had the chance to proc epic and socket. Nothing under that can. The only reason I assumed It was anniversary loot is because this update for quest etc epics has been out for months and it’s been confirmed no sockets can be procced in multiple different threads for anything under wod quests.
