Character Gear Update

So this may be old news for you all. But be careful if you have a sub and take the character gear update that is available. With the gear update they also give you a full bar of experience minus one.

I just lost my demon hunter after the port to stormwind bugged out, locked the game, so I had to ALT-F4 out and relog. When I got into the game it put me in Dragon Isles instead of SW. Knowing I had no banked experience before, I decided to grab a mining node that was a few feet away before turning experience off in SW. BAD MOVE!

I've updated several of my toons and have noticed that only my 20's are given this full bar of exp. All others (all of them have been over 20 so far) have their experience right where it was when I last logged.

Rant:
You all keep saying that it seems they are trying to do everything they can to get our 20's to ding. I've not doubted the possibility but thought it unlikely until now. It makes absolutely no sense to me from a business perspective why they would do this. All that it accomplishes is making people mad and quitting. All of us are potential customers, not to mention new players that come here to learn a thing or two about the starter edition.

I completely agree. Just because people play 20s doesn't mean they don't or will never pay, but somebody at Blizzard seems to be paranoid about it, like we're high school deliquents or something and they just can't abide the thought of us not fitting into the cookie cutter mold. The reality is that the people who play 20s are drawn to certain kinds of gameplay, and that gameplay will continue to be a draw to them even if they have to go to a different game to find it.
