Say goodbye to your dark irons, fire opals, emissary cuffs, ribsplitters.... Ya know, ALL those items you spent tons of gold on and/or tons of hours farming. Whether they're iL 56 from WoD, or iL 66 from the most recent patch, goodbye! None are safe! Your precious strength necks, agility rings, and anything in between have been switched to "of the Firelash" LOL. Back to the base stats: 8agi, 13stam, and some secondaries.

Dark Irons, Fire Opals, Emissary Cuffs, Ribsplitters, Aquamarine Rings: it's safe to assume ALL suffixes are being force-switched to total dogshit. GG
 
glad i didn't make an entire pile of aquamarine rings now.

i feel the pain but some ppl clocked in thousands of runs over the course of yrs. it's good that this was revealed now, when you're just starting with brd farming

back on topic: if someone tosses me a beta key i can copy chars to document the stat changes & probability of each converted/randomized bfa suffix, got bis (including hundreds of suffix items in char banks) for more-or-less every bracket

Mechanized Snow Goggles of the Seer (on live) were changed to "of the Aurora" on beta. Not really bad in comparison as mechanized goggles' base-stats are pretty high before they generate a suffix, so it's basically just a swap on the secondary stats. It will be more noticeable on Mechanized Snow Goggles of pure agi / str / int etc, and other items that relied on such suffixes (items listed in OP)
 
droped 500k goldz few month back across eu realms on pure stat suffixes.

seems as if there's no 1:1 guaranteed stat conversion for any given live suffix -> beta suffix, randomized entirely

Do you get same suffixes if you copy same character few times or is it always different?
Same newly droped items get suffixes or they have none at all?

interesting thought. Turns out they do swap (x2 Auroras with different haste/vers and a quickblade). Not sure about newly dropped items, but I'd assume they are all secondary-suffixes only (seems to be the direction they are heavily trying to go).

I don't have beta but a nice man named Jim & also coffer-god Solanar are providing info & SSs

diff stats each time, 3 copies on same pair of engi goggles -> 2 of the aurora (w/ varying stats) + one quickblade

is it also the same bullshit as with live bg blues where same ilvl and suffix give different secondary values or are they constant?

in other words if i get quickblade suffix on a ring - does it always have same amount of stats or it is rng on rng?

rng on rng. When Jim copied his 70 shaman three times, the stats on the Aurora goggles were different... just from character copy. Everyone facing stat rng just from entering the 8.0 prepatch lol

The total amount of secondary stats or stat variation within suffix is different?

for example lets say:
quickblade have 30 crit and 70 vers on helm. total number is 100.

Is it always the same total number on secondary stats in the same suffix?
Bet they just copy pasted live bg crates where you can get blues with x amount but may also get x+y.
