Can't move forward after root

Legend
So while in wsg when I'm Fcing sometimes when I get rooted by charge, frost nova and other forms of roots I will shapeshift to a different form. If I was holding down W when I was rooted It will sometimes glitch out after ive shifted and wont let me go forward. Strafing still works but its not as good.

Has anyone had similar problems on their druid or knows why this is happening/how to fix it.

this has been happening to me a lot lately.

I don't think i'm affected

but I have been getting feared into walls and floors lately

thats been happening to me since wod havent played druid in a long time but i remember it revolving around jumps see if you can practice with a warrior on jumping while being charged to see if you can pinpoint it.

It happens to me too. Druid have some bugs.

-Other I have seen are automatic change from seal to normal when you are in the top of the water without jumping with no sense.

-Also bug when you leave water to ground and ground to water fast and/or ground again: you go to normal form what should not happen.

-Also when you are in a cat form in the tunnel of warsong, if you are auto walking or pressing the walk button, if you try to change to travel form when you leave the tunnel keeping this ''walk button or auto walking button'' pressed, it wont change to travel form. To do that fast, you should stop pushing this button, change then to travel form, and continue walking.

-Also, I have a macro for 1st change form to cat, 2nd lunar attack. If I push it repeatdly, sometimes it changes to normal form and uses lunar attack (the idea obviously is to make the lunar attack in cat form, that happens 90% of the times). I don't know if this is because of the lag, or macro not perfectly written.

-Also, before wod, when druid have the teleport jump talent in cat form, it did not keep walking if you had auto walking (that does not happens for example in the roll abilitie of the monks)

-The last thing, is to talk about a ''streetlight'' close to the top entrances of the alliance part. If you jump between it and the ground close to the square, you could bug your character there, and you wont be able to jump out of this bug. Only if a friend put a double mount there.

PD: sorry for bad english

Ive noticed another one where Ive left the enemy flag room and Im past the tree (horde side) heading to ramp trying to use travel form, I get the message "cant use travel form while indoors". Could be to do with my ms, but its so far out the base it should be working by then.

btw your english is fine

Use !

This has happened to me for ages. You get used to it at some point. I barely notice it anymore. I thought it was like this for everyone tbh.

Blizzard is a small indie company afterall, can't expect much. They are doing their best :/

@Razqt when I did it I could strafe but couldnt move forward after, do I need to use the default move sideways that used to be on D or does strafing do the same thing.
i mean u could just strafe forward right, sure its an issue but its easily dealt with ngl

its lag. same thing as riding into a tunnel and staying mounted for 20 yards.

Entering and exiting outdoor/indoor areas has to do with how the client and server communicate position information. Your client regularly reports your position to the server (how you move your character: "I'm here, now I'm here..."), and the server tells your client if you're indoors or whether you can fly.

The server uses an algorithm to predict your next location based on your direction of travel, so it can calculate things entering range and where other players will see you (this is why people sometimes appear to walk off a ledge or repeatedly fall down the side of a slope). All real-time online games use algorithms like this to compensate for lag.

When you travel in a straight line out of the tunnel or flag room, the server has predicted your next location, but does not know when exactly you've hit outdoors until you reach the predicted spot. Simply tapping strafe or turning a little will change your direction causing your client to send an updated location (allowing the server to verify that you're outdoors and make a new position prediction) allowing you to hit travel form immediately after.

This relationship also explains why you can interrupt your connection and fly indoors because the client doesn't dismount you until it hears from the server that you're indoors. As long as you're not disconnected too long or break the speed limit (illegal distance between reported locations = auto disconnect, some illegal locations too).
