Can't edit threads

Hey so I tried to update my 10 twink guide thread but when I clicked edit it said "You must be logged in to do that". I thought this was weird considering I was already logged in... So I then logged in on the screen that popped up and it brought me back to the thread, however it was not in editing mode. I am not sure if it is currently possible to edit threads or if I am being dumb idk.

Pls fix
