BoE world drops from starting zones

Hi, I've been farming green boe items on my lv5 hunter for few days and haven't seen any boe item drop from starting zone. Has anyone dropped recently at least one item from the list below on a character with lvl 5 or lower?

I've seen some of them non-scaled on AH but haven't looted anything. Am I really unlucky or is it not possible atm?

Are u hunting rares for example? I have 5hunta and he loot L9 req legs from some rare in Mulgore near cave with goblins .. And my L9 paladin who farmed one specific item from elite inna Elvin has mostly some greens in that elite..

But also no luck for req5 items

Rares in starting zones at lv5 drop only https://www.wowhead.com/item=828/small-blue-pouch in all colors. I don't know why.

I tested the first day of 7.3.5, but with the close of the page and all i lost the post, but here is the same image:

Traduction from spanish:
-"Nivel de objeto X" means Item level
-"Necesitas ser de nivel X" means lvl X required



Note: the 1-10 in BoP section, just ignore the lvl, i got the blue farming in death mines, can't remember if they were lvl skull or not :s

I found these items on AH yesterday. All of them are unscaled.

How do people get them? I'm f2p and I cannot ask them.

I checked few of them, mainly lvl 100+.
It's weird because while playing on lvl 5 character I haven't looted any green boe in zones 1-10 (eg elwynn) for few days and in zones 10+ (eg westfall) I get green boe ever few minutes, everything scaled to req lvl7.

Hello @Delailinda. I discovered that while these items do not drop with their original requirements from rares any more, you can still get them from killing some hunter pets. Namely Grimrot and Weaponized Rabbot. Apparently Snuffles drops these as well, but I haven't tested that one.
Don't be fooled by their drop tables on Wowhead. I personally received an Imbued Pioneer Cloak from Grimrot during patch 7.3.5. I CANNOT guarantee this still works though. Just an idea for you.

Ok, after killing ~2000 mobs in starting zones at lvl 5, I finally got a boe item from https://www.wowhead.com/npc=3113/razormane-dustrunner in Durotar.

Scaled to req lvl 7 (ilvl 10).

And later I checked AH and found the same item scaled to req lvl 5 (ilvl 10 too).

I still haven't found a way to drop boes on lvl5 that req lvl 5. Any ideas?

I believe you would have to be level 3 for them to drop and be reqlvl5

Same thing again, looted req lvl 7 (ilvl 10) on lvl 5 character and later found the same item on AH, scaled to req lvl 5 (ilvl 10 too). I still have no answer from sellers to my question on which lvl they dropped those items.

The stuff that you see on the AH that is item level 10 and requires level 5 is non-scaled loot (from before patch 7.3.5). You can still find these non-scaled items from Treasure Chests and a few rare spawned mobs that drop non-scaled loot (designated by some arbitrary classification of rares based on the expansion they were introduced in).

Starting zones are a lot harder to get any of these items, because they will mostly give you 6-slot bags in stead of a green BoE. A better place to farm green BoEs are zones that come right after the starting zones, those would include: Darkshore, Northern Barrens, Westfall (all these zones have a minimum level requirement of 10). I have found a few mobs in these zones that drop non-scaled loot. The only problem is: I have yet to get anything that requires level 5 and is item level 10, I mostly get stuff that requires level 6 and is item level 11, or requires level 7 and is item level 12.

The other equipment that has requirement of level 7 and is item level 10 is scaled gear (introduced after patch 7.3.5). I have yet to see anything lower than the requiring level 7 to equip, and being item level 10.

The main way to tell the difference between the two different versions of items is to see the difference in item level and required level. If the difference is 5 levels; it's old and non-scaled. If the difference is 3 levels; it's a newer scaled version of the item.
