EU+US bfa crafting hinges on cataclysm (beta)

Asylum

for the Insane
i am very bad at actually doing main beta content, so i decided to lazily poke around and see what i can find in regards to the future of twinking post-BfA.

it would seem the cataclysm is the first evident measure of professions being split into separate expansion tiers. i have visited the blacksmith trainer and poked around his recipes, and have found some interesting hints at iLvL outcomes. granted a lot of what i have seen iLvL-wise is inconsistent.

here are my findings:

first 3 screenshot are of items for low levels. the cataclysm-relevant stuff starts at 4th screenshot.

edit: interesting thing to note is the first screenshot has the steel plate helm scaling like greens at only +3 iLvLs. the following two screenshots are +5 iLvLs. once you get to cataclysm crafted gear, you get +24/+25 iLvLs.

Those numbers look way out, I think what you are seeing is the correct iLevel, but the numbers are scaled to your level, or did I miss the point as usual :D

didn't even notice the stats.
here are a few more screenshots:

so instead of 1 large skill point that goes up to 800 in legion, they just split it to many smaller skill points for each expansion. but the total number of skill points remain the same. looks like 300 skill points for classic so no squish at all

each expansion's tier of a profession skill goes up to 50. majority of the expansion specific crafted gear is accessible pretty early on, at like 1 or 10.
