BFA Beta Changes

Some interesting things I noticed on my 2 39s:

Suffix items (i.e. old Ulduman gear and aquamarine signetss) are changed entirely... so RIP those.

Epic items have odd item levels. For instance the Blade of Eternal Darkness from Maurodon has item level 42 (down from 51). However, the BoE 2h sword Night Blade still has item level 51 (I have 2 with one equipped and one unbound).

My satchel gear from dungeons is still item level 45 on beta. I'd farm that stuff if you haven't yet.

ok so all ilvl 45 items that have been acquired since the last patch that changed the dungeons to scaling have ilvl 40. all new dungeon items acquired will be ilvl40. All old items acquired prior to this change seem to be keeping their ilvl. so my gnomish water sinking boots are ilvl 49.

titanforge ilvl 45 , warforge ilvl 43, regular fel gear ilvl 41. also bg loot items are now ilvl 41.

/cry Spent hours farming Revo's shoulders on 2 39's - iirc my Ally Monk has 6 or 7 different suffix ones, along with some "of Intellect" gloves. Got some "of Agility" bracers on my 39 Shammy too RIP

Only consolation atm is that the Furbog's Medicine Pouch on my 19 Shammy has been boosted through the roof ..

A whole host of questions from a soccer dad who hasn't played in years:

1) Are old BoE epics scaling to ilvl 51, or do they need to be fresh drops under the new patch e.g. will I need to get new copies of my bound underworld bands and green tower?

2) Are vendors selling scaled gear i.e. can I go to the Darkmoon Faire and get epic replica gear that is ilvl 51 and use that in instanced PvP, or is vendor gear remaining unscaled?

3) If I have a crafting profession and can make epic items on my 39, will they scale (and thus go to ilvl 51)? I'm thinking of Invulnerable Mail, Fiery Chain Shoulders, Black Dragonscale Boots, Fiery Chain Girdle, etc.

I have an Epic BoE iLevel 51 Sword on my 39 Monk, it's stayed at 51, but it's damage per second has been scaled down, but it's still better than the Legion i45 Weapons by ~2 points per second, ( which drop down to i40 ).

All from the Beta on a 39 monk. The Green legs on Live are "Ranger Legs of Power" they have slightly better stats than the dungeon blues on Beta. The "of Agility" "of Intellect" "of Power" suffixed greens still maybe worth picking up if cheap on your AH

it has 9str 9 stam. ilvl 50.
[doublepost=1531171958,1531171251][/doublepost]Just as a quick update on preping for this next expansion, since 7.3.5 scaled epics have been out in the open world, if you have been farming these items that will be the new bis for most classes cause you get world scaled blues too. the world blues stay at ilvl43 and the epics stay at ilvl 51.

What are some of the best spots for BoE farming? Or is it just a total crapshoot?

well you need to pick zones that have epics on the loot table. then look for guides on those zones for farming spots.
