Best Weapon for Timewalking?

I'm currently using a 3 socket 2-h sword from ICC for the upcoming ulduar raid. And will probably get Shadowmourne well after the event. But I heard a rumor that https://www.wowhead.com/item=78478/gurthalak-voice-of-the-deeps is better due to tendrals. Is this true? If so I might use it, because it dropped for me.

Also what about https://www.wowhead.com/item=140808/draught-of-souls&bonus=3515:1474 for trinket? I might try and get https://www.wowhead.com/item=124224/mirror-of-the-blademaster&bonus=1801, but it won't show in loot tables in raid journal. I also noticed people using https://www.wowhead.com/item=50363/deathbringers-will last year. How effective is that?

for Gurthalak, the tentacles were OP once upon a time, i don't know if it's still crazy. Best thing to do is trial and error the items and what works best for you.

It's what i did with my TW Set.

And fun too. It turns you into different northrend humanoids when it procs, for those who don't know.

edit- Gurth is broken in PvP, not sure that translates to TW... but it should.

How much dmg are we talking about in pvp around the 80-89 bracket?

I tested on my 119 on a 118 target dummy (naked) and each was hitting for like 4k consistently with lvl 85 tentacles. If that's nearly as strong in TW, that would be great
 
I don't know, I got two but I haven't queued LOL. I heard they tick for like 500? I can check at 85 in a bit.

edit- my DPS meter from the one BG I did showed it ticked for 591, but only 34 times the whole BG. Dual wielding.
I have https://www.wowhead.com/item=77210/bone-link-fetish on him too and that did almost as much damage overall.

edit2- 595 per tick at 85 vs. 85 practice dummy in SW.

You're comparing an AoE proc to a single target proc.

The tentacles are crazy strong in arenas and 1v1s. As a shadowpriest I pretty much have to used dispersion if 2 tentacles proc.
