Best rogue spec for pve farming/pvp?

If you are gravitating towards rogue expecting huge crits like hunters or warriors you are in for a bad time. Rogues are more about small hits and cc right now. Like you can get sorta big shadowstrikes as sub but that's kinda it.
I said in another thread that for sub I would just go all socket agility gear and hope for weaponmaster shadowstrike openers then rely on melee hits/ele force. And for outlaw I would go haste mastery and hope for maingauche hits/eleforce procs. As for mut idk I havent played it much. these are just my opinions based on playing rogue so far. I would honestly just sit on healers forever as a rogue in a bg.
We are not the best class but at least ew have sprint and shadowstep now.
