Best Puggers March 2022 (with a rating out of 10, and writeups!)

Pitter

Boots Thief
Everything below is my personal opinion, and takes into account activity, skill level, helpfulness to the team, and helpfulness to the health of games. The rankings are out of 10. With that being said lets get into the good stuff:

Best:

Rogues -
Saxxon(9.2)
Cheerz(8.5)

Saxxon(9.2): Saxxon continues to impress, being far and away the best rogue to pug, queueing often, and never leaving games. He's great with callouts, and has the best game knowledge and positioning of any rogue to this day. If Saxx is on your team you are very likely to win. Saxx would easily be at or above a 9.4 if he played a bit more.

Cheerz(8.5): I'm not sure who Cheerz is, but he plays exceptionally well in every pug I see him in. He uses his cooldowns well, he's generally in the right spots, and he gives good callouts. Cheerz is a great rogue to see on your team. Given my lack of info on him, I will put him at 8.5 out of 10.

Mage -
Box(9.2)

Box(9.2): Box plays almost every day, he plays both factions (though has a slight preference for strong side), and tries his hardest to win every single game. If there's no offensive priest on your side and Box is on the enemy team; you probably aren't going to win. Plays often, plays well, plays both factions: 9.2.

Hunters -
Pizza(9.4)
Ezeron(9.4)

Pizza(9.4): The infamous Pizza is often blamed for all the problems plaguing the 19 bracket, but nothing could be further from the truth. Pizza queues very often, and will do so with or without a group. Yes, his groups are very good, and very tough to beat, and that can be frustrating for many, but Pizza almost always logs to the weaker faction when needed to keep pugs going as long as they can. He is also the best In-Game-Leader for pugs by a long shot. He gets a 9.4.

Ezeron(9.4): Pizza's partner in crime. Ezeron is almost always on for the first pops of the day, and also swaps to the weaker side like Pizza when needed. He had byfar the most impact on O hunter for the month of March, and does well in every Warsong he plays. An amazing leader on O, queues very often, and a great help to the health of games: 9.4.

Warriors -
Casino(9.0)
Skeezin(9.0)

Casino(9.0): A.K.A Maxbet, Randylayhee, Godzilla, Jrbigchief, or Lottomax. Casino, in my opinion, is the best pugger to ever play 19s to this day. He doesn't follow the rules, and will pop consumables no one else has ever heard trying to win the game. He 's definitely a bit of a wild card, but he almost always plays weak side, and tries his best even in the most hopeless of games. I rate him 9.0.

Skeezin(9.0): Skeezin has been a stalwart force in the 19 bracket for a very long time now. He has taking a liking to the warrior class in TBC, and he performs very well on it. He's more of an In-Game-Leader than Casino is, which can help more clueless teams. Also, for whatever reason, any team he is on has extremely good morale. I couldn't bring it to myself to rate one over the other because they are both great warriors to have on your team in pugs. Lord Skeezin gets a 9.0 as well.

Druids -
HQC(9.0)
Yogi(8.5)

HQC(9.0): HQC (Totjumper) has been queueing up a ton on his druid lately, and he plays out every Warsong to the best of his abilities, no matter the odds. He's definitely better at hunter than he is at FC at the current moment, but with a few more games under his belt he has the potential to be the best FC in the bracket. Nevertheless, the amount of games he plays, and the very few amount of times he /AFKs grants him the strong rating of 9.0.

Yogi(8.5): Yogi needs to play more. He is the best FC queueing pugs right now by a longshot, but didn't play nearly as much as HQC this month. He would likely be rated above HQC if this was the case. Yogi is very aware of cap timings, optimal routes, pressure, and other fundamentals that are extremely important in a good FC: 8.5.

Warlock -
KUNZ(8.5)

Kunz(8.5): Kunz has proved himself to be a good player time and time again. He has been playing tons of pugs recently on his warlock, and almost always on the side lacking in power. The fact that he plays both factions and plays so much makes him the only choice for warlock this month. 8.5 out of 10.

Priest -
Augi(9.0)

Augi(9.0): Augi has been playing a good amount this month, and no other priest queueing (that I can think of) comes anywhere close to his level of understanding in Warsong. Augi is willing to take calculated risks in games where other priests would cower and sit D. His dispelling is also always extremely crisp too. Augi is a 9.0 for March, but if he played more would easily be 9.4 or better.

Shaman -
Thanks(8.5)

Thanks(8.5): Another player I am not overly familiar with, but he actually does very well on Shaman and queues often. It will be a treat to see him play in the upcoming Caroline Cup. I think he will be trying to prove that Shaman can be viable in 10v10s. If you had a shaman on your team in March, you wanted it to be Thanks: 8.5.

Paladin -
Priority(8.8)

Priority(8.8): Paladin connoisseur Priorty has been playing the class for well over 10 years, and has proven in pugs that Paladin has its place in warsong. Believe me when I say: you want this man on O with your rogues, his HoJ timing is perfect and he is always in position. If he played more in March I'd rate him even higher than his current 8.8.

Honorable Mentions:

Rogues -
Hass(8.3)
Kevikev(7.8)

GLHF's quintessential rogue players both are easily 9.0+ players, but they just didn't get as many games in this month as I would've liked to see. I feel like Hass played quite a bit more than Kevi hence the extra rating. If you do see either of these guys on your team you should be very happy, they are two of the best at their class.

Mages -
Axe(8.0)
Karma(7.0)
Firegoats(7.0)

Axe is every bit as good as Box, but didn't play nearly as much this past month, he was likely busy gearing up his new Warlock and Hunter twinks. Axe would likely rank 9.4 or higher if he had played more.

Karma is sometimes seen queueing with BTNE, he's a solid mage and rogue player, but I need to see more to get a more accurate rating for him.

Firegoats plays fire mage and actually does very well on it, I am impressed he's been able to make a meme spec work so well.

Hunter -
Perriee(7.9)
Atax(6.5)

Perriee is the newest member of GLHF. He queued a good amount in March and has solid fundamentals for Warsong hunter. He also queues weak side more often than not.

Atax is obviously a very strong player, but I do not see him queue nearly as much as I would like.

Warrior -
Wondy(6.5)
Myyce(6.5)

Wondy plays a ton, and knows how to play and win Warsongs, he is however, prone to tilting, and is unfortunately muted on many of his characters, making callouts virtually impossible on some of them. He would be higher rated if he queued Alliance.

Myyce is a strong warrior player, who, like Wondy, knows how to play and win the game. Unfortunately he didn't queue as much as I would've liked to see.

Druid -
xPew(6.0)

Xpew was the only other druid who caught my eye in March. I think he's relatively new to the bracket, but he played a handful of games, and I hope to see him FCing again in April.

Warlock -
Grizzlefoot(6.0)
Juan(6.0)

Grizzlefoot and Juan are both beasts. Both players would easily be 9.0+ but they didn't play enough this month. Hope to see you boys more in April.

Priest -
JessesGF(7.0)
Bnke(7.0)

Any rogue player turned priest is likely going to do well, as they know what their biggest threat is. JessesGF (or Iggy) has been queueing his new priest almost daily, and does well, one odd thing is I would expect to see him play O over D, as he would probably be an insanely fast dispeller. I can't wait to see more of his priest in April.

Bnke plays with BTNE often, he's a very good Warsong player with solid positioning and fundamentals, I don't know a whole lot about him, but I was happy with his play throughout March.

Shaman -
HB(6.0)

I really love to pug with and against HB, but unfortunately didn't see a whole lot of him in the last half of March. He's another player who can easily become the best at whatever he plays, but I want to see more of him day to day. If HB queues more often there is not a shot he is rated below 9.0.

Paladin -
Kevikev(7.8)

Kevikev is also a great paladin, the only person relevant on the class besides Priority, but he just didn't get enough games in this month.

quality list, probably.
