Just wanted to know what people consider the best class/spec(s) for the following things. These are just my personal opinions.
Island Expeditions: ???
Farming Old Content: Fury Warrior* / Druid > Demon Hunter > Windwalker Monk
AoE Mob Farming: Brewmaster or Windwalker Monk > Arcane Mage
Material Farming (Gathering Professions): Druid > Paladin** / Death Knight**
* = With the right gear
** = due to the 20% mounted speed bonus (class ability)
I'm not really sure what I would consider the best for Island Expeditions as I haven't done a lot of them yet. I run it on my 111 Shaman which has been alright, but I'm sure there are some better options!
