Is there interest in starting these up again? Before I quit for a bit so I stopped showing up but I'm starting to play 19s some more and have a couple of old school people that are coming back to play as well.

I'd be fine just doing what we did before with having everyone get in vent and form teams with a few lax rules in mind. If there's enough interest though, I really liked Ore's idea of drafting a couple of teams.

Personally I think something like that would be incredible for the bracket. While the pick up nights produced pretty good games, something a bit more organized should result in a lot more fun. Stealing Ore’s idea I think a decent framework could be:

-4 teams of ~10 people each

-7v7 or 8v8, whichever people thinks produces the better game. The main advantage of doing less than 10v10 is that there's more room for people to miss. I also think by cutting down the number of people you may be able to improve the games

-Some sort of draft system to decide teams. I think 8 diverse people who are all relatively equal in skill and have a good knowledge of the bracket should randomly be spread out to be the Co-Leaders of teams and the people responsible for drafting.

-Month long "seasons". One day would be chosen for games and each team would play the other 3 in a best of 3/5 series over the course of 3 weeks. For the final week the top two teams would play in order to crown a champ and the bottom two teams would play to decide who is the least shitty.

-If the first season goes well and is relatively balanced, I think basically continuing with the same teams while including some player movement would be ideal. I.e. let’s say each team can protect 1-2 players while the rest are thrown into a pool to be redrafted. The worst team from the previous season would get the first pick, etc. This would keep the games from getting stale while still maintaining some of the competition that may have built up between the teams.

-PLAYER MOVEMENT. I want to fucking trade twinks and have a waiver wire and shit for players who may ride the bench of their current team but could start on another team. THE EXCITEMENT!!!!!!!!

Obviously this is something that requires a great deal more coordination and involvement than getting in vent one night a week to set up games but I think it’s worth it. There has to be 35-40 people out there who would be interested in something like this and I know there’s at least 8 people who could help with a leadership role and make shit happen.
 
I think Ore's Main problem was that there isnt enough participation. Its a amazing idea and would be great but when it comes down to it people dont want to do things like that for fear of being bashed/not picked. You will see groups such as RT/RL finally forming as a group and coordinating alot better than others and killing the activity.

I really doubt there isn't enough people out there to do something like this. The people who are afraid of not getting picked or bashed probably aren't posting here anyways and there's at least 40 people active here that could play.

Not sure what you mean by RT/RL people forming as a group and killing activity. Those people would be apart of this and would be spread out among the teams. Someone like Pizza would be an obvious choice to help captain one of the teams.
