I'm making a 110 Fury War twink and 111 Mage twink. Was wondering what is fastest way to farm awakening essences? Heard something about Mythic 0 Maw could give 150 a run. But besides randoms world quest that give like 7-20 essences.

And would love to see some armories of these two classes if someone could provide. Would also like to dabble in prot warrior.

Most efficient in terms of time spent is probably doing Mythic ABT once a week (you're doing that anyways), doing WQs for the emissary caches and doing class hall missions at 200% chance (these take almost no time to queue up). Not sure about mythic dungeons, to be honest - have never paid attention if they actually drop essences. If they do, then do them all once a week too (in order from shortest to longest).

Fastest in terms of getting the legendaries you want in the shortest amount of time possible will also include all world quests (currently the WQs I have available add up to 200 essences, this includes fully unlocked Argus though), and legion invasion WQs whenever they're up. Not sure if your first random daily heroic dungeon of the week will reward some on your 110 (111s can't do random legion dungeons).

All in all, you can easily get 1 legendary per week if you do ABT and do every other activity listed. Given that to actually gear your twink to adequate levels will take longer than a couple of weeks, it's not something you should particularly lose any sleep over.

If you played actively in Legion, you might have 1000s left on your old main. You can buy BoA class-specific tokens for 1000 essences and mail to your twinks (though you'll be playing the lottery on actually getting the legendary you want). Remember those tokens make legendaries based on your loot spec.

Thank you for all the advice. I was accustomed to the WQ methods and doing M ABT but was wondering was there a better way. I stumbled across something saying Legion Mythic dungeons (Maw of Souls was said specifically in the video) give 100+ essences for completing. I went to try to solo on my fresh twink with gear I already acquired Mythic Maw but 2nd boss mechanics messed me up every rip....so couldn't say. Nor do I have any help accomplishing much so guess I will go back to the old methods and ones you said.

I tried it on my 110 War....pointless attempting it on my 111 Mage im sure so didn't bother. Thanks for info!

I just went and soloed Mythic Maw of Souls on my 111. I got 0 essences.

It might be different on a 110 if they still follow Legion mythic rules (have access to M+, can get a weekly M+ cache once a week), or it might be different if you're on a Legion-only account (no BFA). I can't check either of these, but someone else can maybe chime in here. The weekly M+ cache back during Legion definitely used to give some essences.

I thought you could still do mythic+ if you had the keys, but the keys dont drop anymore below 120 so you cant do them. So theoretically, if somehow you still had a key you could do a mythic+ for 110 now. This is just what I heard or thought I could easily be wrong heh.
