Arena Ladder & Donation Changes

  • Instead of having to donate $10 to receive your badge, username color, custom user title, GIF avatar access, In-site Emoji request, Arena Ladder Submission Request, and Royal Lounge access you can now subscribe for $1.99 a month, once the subscription ends any benefits will be removed.
  • Users can pay in bulk at $1.99 per month
  • Users who have donated previously are grandfathered in, they will not have to donate to maintain their ranks.
  • In regards to the Arena Ladder, I've just promoted @Trialmop to Ladder Coordinator, he will be in charge of everything "ladder" and will be coming out with a post regarding his plans shortly.
  • It should be noted that in order to request to a submission of a character on the Ladder that you must be either a Veteran, Grandfathered user, or Royal Member
  • You can only request your own character to be added, breaking this rule could result in anywhere from a ban to permanent removal from the ladder.
  • Qualified users can request 2 of their own characters to be added.
  • Why are these changes happening? We've upgraded the host to provide users from all countries a faster and working connection, this means we're paying more than we were and need more finance, if the website hopes to stay online for more than a couple months we'll need the communities assistance or may have to downgrade to a far slower and less accessible hosting platform.

Hmm no idea, @Syrue and myself are the only ones with access to that information and I haven't discussed current cost specifics with anyone but him.

and on every other page names are missing, this is a continuation of the same problem We've encountered when Shamatix and Dragonsblood worked on the ladder, in order to support its capacity we need more resources.

This leaves us with few options, while funding is already an issue because of the recent upgrades. All in all it's been decided that it's best to close the arena ladder off to anyone who doesn't meet certain requirements

This just in: due to a lack of funding and resources we have unfortunately had to remove the forum features of the website, the rest of the website will remain as normal.
 
So you opted to pay more for a different host,

- The website is unbearably slow for days at a time
- Features that worked on previous host no longer work due to new "upgraded" host being inadequate
- Website is no longer self sustainable

What was the point in swapping hosts?

Users from all 5 of the top visiting country's here are experiencing issues connecting to the site they previously did not have.

This is all coming off as a poorly thought out money grab.

Can't sell xpoff due to not fully owning it so now you've downgraded hosts to raise the ad-rev profit while begging for donations.

becoming a full time neet?

1. You haven't upgraded anything. The website is slower and shittier than ever.
2. Arena ladders are as disfunctional as Conqs gameplay
3. Heard rumors of some1 creating a new twinkinfo a while back, any1 know if this is still underway? Xpoff is getting more and more ridiculous every week haha..

I tried for you, I don't think it'll last though, unfortunately we will be unable to afford hosting in about a month, I suppose that will be less money out of my pocket.
