Arena Ladder Confusion

What exactly has happened to the arena ladders since the drop of BFA Season 1. It seems like they tried to purge all the bfa preseason ratings that were earned. But also my 2s partner from legion got completely wiped (same with my 20 rogue that I pushed in bfa). I was just wondering if anyone knew anything about this?

LVL 60 was rank 1 in arena ladder now my char is wiped and not found WTF
