Anniversary brought forward to tomorrow (01/11/2020)

Not sure yet, but I hope so. Although they might all require 30+ based on this new quest and world boss

I'd love to get my hands on a scaled up https://www.wowhead.com/item=30722/ethereum-nexus-reaver . But I doubt the gems would be a feature aside from an RNG proc

Considering the last anniversary was before 8.3, I'd imagine the new anniversary gear scaling for 49 will be base ilvl 80-90ish. But I doubt warforging will come back for it.

edit: he doesn't have a loot table yet

Even if it doesn't warforge, tertiary stats and socket procs will likely still be a thing. Here goes the farming low drop chances again, unless they upped them. However, we might be able to use geared low levels to make the bosses much easlier depending on the scaling(cough cough mushroom dragon boss cough cough).

To be fair, that mushroom boss was a fun challenge though, one time we had two 20-40 raid groups with both alliance and horde fighting it to take it down lol.

im gonna pretend like I knew what I did
Emerald dream dragons, nightmare material, the nightmare often conflicts with druids, dragons, and corrupts the emerald dream making it bad or worse heh. Its not immediately apparent, and you probably didn't intend it heh, but I just noticed it since they correlate with each other a lot lol.

I gotta stop being lazy and join these twink communities you guys are always going on about...

I cant find any for f2p communities lol But yeah I could prob use my main account to help get my f2p in

might be farming korraks on my 50s tbh... already spent lots of afks in base on my vets last run.

we had some people reporting a leveler+vets queue vs xpoff/120s queue last time.. wonder if thats still the case

yeah i would imagine vets are in with levelers, so it might be pretty easy for a lvl 20 with op gear to compete, but we will see. Don't think it was ever confirmed or tested enough, but when I tested it certainly seemed like it.

none of the world bosses drop mastery gear, the gear has the same base stats as dungeon gear, and only 1 socket potential. It just seems like BC dungeon gear will outshine any of the anniversary gear.

only thing that might give us a surprise is the new doom walker boss but i doubt it.

it will prolly be underwhelming event for us twinks tbh

at the very least, trinkets, rings, wrist, capes with sockets might be good if its higher ilvl which usually anniversary gear is. for lvl 49s it will probably be BiS, but some socket gear might beat it out still, depends on its ilvl. The doom rare also might have something good, but I guess we will see, especially whether it scales or not or if trading is possible. But if its like the other anniversary bosses we probably can't trade it.

At lower levels yes, but actually at levels closer to endgame, the gear was notably high during BFA. Like my previous 119s obtained ilvl 378 gear from it, whereas all other sources of gear provided around ilvl 300 and lower. This means (not this year's event; but next due to xpac release date) 59s will be pretty big just like 119s were. Only issue is xpoff/on split

if we get scaling 59s might be able to fight 60s until way later, or heck maybe even without scaling, generally current expansion twinks have been pretty powerful.

I thought similarly with 119s, but Blizzard has had a history (this last few xpacs) of endgame toons being massively overpowered by even the 2nd to last tier. Like with BFA, the major issue was the insane amount of stats and benefits from ilvl 400-450ish azerite gear. 119s couldn't really compete against that. I think blizzard will pull another exponential increase from tier to tier. Which is why we get so many stat squishes nowadays

That's because Blizz has literally no concept of how Level/Stat squish should work. They've done this over and over where we all get squished to some reasonable values then the max Level for that XPAc gets M-A-S-S-I-V-E amounts of power creep. This is probably becuase the average moron that Raids even somewhat competitively DEMANDS BIG DEEPS, so Blizz throws huge numbers at them in a relatively short period of time. For example, say the new Level 59's end up with an average of 20K Health, I'd bet real money the new 60's will be north of 100K Health half way through SL. Thus completely negating the entire squish to begin with.

Yep. I'm happy they are adding diminishing returns to 2ndary stat increases this xpac. But I can't help but think they'll introduce some kind of azerite/corruption/artifact BS that will negate it

thankfully the first tier of ilvls doesn't seem extremely high in stats, but we will see how quickly they progress it. I am not quite sure what 59s will look like, so its hard to compare it to 60s, also including it depends on what they set anniversary gear ilvl for 59s. From how fast bfa ramped up i wouldn't doubt that 60s will become op relatively quickly, but you never know lol.

Just killed Azuregos (Azshara), dropped 85 and 95 warforged for the 50's. My 20 didnt get anything.

Korrak is bugged atm, when you queue it says 'cannot join as party' or something even though im solo queued, thats the same for everyone. Chromie has no quest.
