All These Vets coming back

i just remember playing with him over there in bc and he was like the 1 decent person on a battle group literally deemed "BG bad". the only other people of any quality to come from there was bonebitch and painaid

I played on ruin cyclone a bit of vengance and retal from vanilla-wrath, stopping at cata when the entire play of twinking changed and there has always been shit talking, and it has always been done by people who had every right to do so. and IDK what point you were proving but that's pretty much what I said. At the later ends of wrath into cata guilds did start freaking out about shit talking and dodging competition. It's those people that were the "garbotwinks" that I'm talking about, because if they had played against a guild that could beat them they probably would have had some sort of mental breakdown and disbanded the guild. This bracket is dying because there is no dominant guild to premade against, because every time there is a dominant guild either they're afraid to play others, or others are afraid to play them.

It's unreal to me that people attempt to deny just how much shit talking went around throughout the years, though it just might be my upbringing in ruin and cyclone that makes me see things differently, but my point still stands regardless of how one is motivated. Without competition this bracket is crap. I for one am looking forward to premading with myrms guild in the(hopefully) soon to be future. I look forward to winning, or losing. Either way as long as either side manages to have a pair in between them I'm sure there will be more premades to follow.

tl;dr: talking shit and rollin bitches was done by those who had played well enough to do so. Don't get your tits in a bunch every time you lose a bg or an arena and take a second to reflect on it. Who knows you might actually learn something.

I might learn something? I'm not getting my "tits" in a bunch, hell I am in the process of updating my old twinks. Stop derailing the thread and acting like the level of shit talk that has been achieved is a good thing for the community, because frankly, it isn't a good thing when you think getting absolutely shit talked and gy camped instead of winning the game quickly is a good thing. Did you have that kind of abusive behavior taught to you in middle school? Did your parents set this example? I am just curious, because you just sound like the ass hats that I described earlier who do nothing to forward twinking in a positve manner. People that do what you describe at the sheer level of negativity you "glamorously" painted as a positive, are just shit in game and shit in real life plain and simple.

ON TOPIC: I will be done with my re-done 19 mage fairly soon and looking for some games on Bleeding Hollow. Hope to see people there.

Shit talk is wat made 19s great. Duels/skirms that occurred after forum shit talk was the mecha of 19 twinking, it's the only thing that gave it a competitive feel.

lol did you read like half my post or none of it im confused because I've had a pro competitive stance throughout, and also I'm not sure how I'm derailing a thread without any real purpose to begin with other than to have "vets" post about the state of the bracket, which I'm doing. Also I never said anything about 12 year olds farming gys, as tbh the most I got gy camped was probably around that same time I mentioned earlier, under pizzas strict gy containment laws. The problem with this bracket today and in the past is that people don't want to risk losing because they feel like their e creds going to go out the window.

The cycle is pretty hilarious really because at some point you would think that they would have to have done something to earn said "e cred", but now it really is as easy as saying HEY WE ARE OLD TWINKS HEY, and they don't actually have to premade at all. I mean when pizza hut lost to train cows he even said that he didn't take them seriously as a guild. I highly doubt the game would have been played if that wasnt the case. At any rate I suppose I'm just talking from personal experience from playing in 4 or 5 bgs over the span of vanilla(pre xrealm) 2 the end of wrath.

but idk as long as premades actually start happening again like the other night this bracket might actually be saved. whos your twinker anyways mr opinionated twink info veteran

tl;dr hey hot stuff wana send me som pix

This thread was made for veterans as you say. You call 4 or 5 bgs over the span of vanilla and 2 at the end of wrath enough experience with vanilla wow as a twink to come here and post from the experience of a "veterans" perspective? LOL.

I am making a new 19 mage at the moment. Her name is Rüe, soon to be Rüka on Bleeding Hollow. My original mage that I made I leveled up to 24 because it was 20 after being hacked. His name is Rüeko. My grandfathered rogue is Rüa on Bleeding Hollow and in the process of being updated. You can message me at any point when I am done with them and get a few games under my belt. Feel free to peruse "Mr. Veteran"

Note: I have been asked if I am "RU," and no, I am technically speaking the original "rue, rueko, rueku, rua, roo, etc." to name many of my character and former character names since vanilla. It is a name I have used for all my twinks except my gf'd rogue who was Rasin for the brief time I played him and went back to my mage.

I gave you my character names. Why don't you give me yours hmm? Only way i'll know ya when I see ya in the battlegrounds.

Oh by the way, "bg" stands for battleground or battlegrounds if "bgs" in game. My "misinterpretation" was more a lack of effort on your part to properly type, utilize commas, lack of capitalization, and very sparingly used "mastery" of the period.

BG has been widely used to describe both battlegrounds and battlegroups for a long time. I thought it was pretty obvious which one he was talking about based on the context that he used it in. The grammar bashing is also pretty weak considering that it's a perfectly readable post and gets its point across better than most of the crap that gets posted here. I can't imagine how you're going to react to BG (lol) chat if some punctuation errors are getting to you this much here.

=/

On topic: The bracket has some balance issues that are exacerbated greatly by problems with the players themselves, but it can be enjoyable. There has always been a lot of shit talking, but at some point people started caring too much about their egos and decided that it's better to not play a game than risk losing (or that losing is the end of their WoW career).

Finally, vets have nothing to prove to anyone but themselves

What slydurr said, ur a bit of a bigot

What slydurr said, ur a bit of a bigot

So you are saying that I treat people with intolerance and prejudice equivalent to a racial group? If calling someone out who thinks shit talking, gy camping, and such is a good thing and a positive impact on a bracket makes me that, then fine. I guess according to your own definition of bigot I am one. Ya caught me.

No I just think u ignored his points because of spelling nd grammar

I did not ignore his comments, I simply chose not to address them as he would not understand. These days, because of internet and texting, people seem to have skipped English and lack the fundamentals that were once taught by third grade. That to me is far more appalling then whether or not the context or legibility of something can easily be derived.

So no, I just felt like addressing your point because of the hilarity of it. :)

As someone who has had a hard upbringing, using that as an excuse is frankly not going to work with me. It isn't "high and mighty" to use proper grammar, it's called class and setting a higher standard/bar for oneself. People used to do it. Now, they demand respect when they enter a room like they are high and mighty like many of these 19 twinks. You used to have to achieve or earn respect, and that's something that's been lost in the real world today, and it is now reflecting in the twink community overall.

I do not mind poor grammar frankly. People who utilize it so atrociously just make my life easier when it comes to firing/not hiring them. If you can't do something as simple as spell on a job application, I'll trash it without a second thought. That's the reality of the real world. The reality of this internet forum is it contains poor grammar. I really do not care, but I felt like addressing it, because it was the main reason his original message could easily be taken a different way than intended as occurred based upon my previous statement.

Not saying it's high and mighty to spell good, just to disregard what someone says because of it is.

Like I said its an Internet forum. It's not a job application people are free to type as they wish... U belittling someone's thoughts because of there typing is childish in itself... Be more open minded!

anyway I'm done responding to an obvious troll, this isn't a professional environment it's a video game and there will naturally be immaturity.

though I agree with a few of ur points about respect

Lol really? Anyone who treats world of Warcraft let alone a forum like a professional environment needs a kick in the nuts, people play this game to escape that.
