AGM TBC XP?

nibbles

I have a warrior with 805 exp until ding, grandfathered naxx serpent shoulders. I recall in vanilla AGM granted 550 exp. I’ve heard as of TBC it now grants 825 xp. Is this true and if so, is there anything I can do about my XP crunch and still turn in my AGM?

I honestly don’t think so. Not making fun of you, just trying to understand how people have so much experience at 19. I have a bis rogue that’s 200 experience into 19. A friend of mine dinged 20 by accident At the beginning of the X pack because he got feared into a zone lol.
I think you only get to experience when your hand in the first AGM not the last. Have you turned in the first one yet for the quest?

No, this is my 6th AGM, 5th 19. But what I presume you were asking is whether or not my warrior has already gotten an AGM— this would be my warrior’s first. Getting dreadskull really squeezed my exp. I had an escort for STV extravaganza accidentally aggro a mob while in the same party (layering reasons) pull the mob to the Booty Bay’s guards who killed the mob and pushed me over that 825 threshold. Really a cruddy way to go, almost as bad as getting feared into a discovery.

To clarify though, you are correct about the first vs second AGM.
[doublepost=1623785765][/doublepost]Bump/ Dreadskull gets you approx 80% best case scenario.

I believe he means after you loot the first chest to get the https://classic.wowhead.com/item=18706/arena-master the quest it gives you is what gives the exp so if you've already looted one and done that quest to unlock the AGM turn in quest then you should be good

Quest says 820 XP on wowhead
https://tbc.wowhead.com/quest=7810/arena-master

Note: There are 2 AGM quest parts, the first is when you get the first trinket, it gives 820 xp, turning in the quest with 12 arena masters afterwards gives 0 xp. If you've already turned in the quest from the Arena Master item, and are working towards the quest to turn in 12 of them you are safe, if not you are can't do it without leveling. Hope that helps : )

Edit: If you are still confused you can run this command in game to see if you've already completed the quest that gives xp
/run print(C_QuestLog.IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(7810))
