Advanced keybinding question

Dear reader;



School has lightened up a little and I decided to join the arena-tournament private server.

I'm looking to whore out on the arenas & world pvp, but I am at a slight crux in my macro knowledge.





I usually haven't cared for arena, and as such, never bothered to set up target arena 1/2/3. rather I used focus & mouseover because it was more convenient for the 1vX situations I focused on.



In this server I plan on doing both (supposedly it is active at the Isle..) so I want to enable target arena 1/2/3 for arenas only, but if not in arena, have my keybindings be straight\focus\mouseover.



Is there any way I can do this without having to save multiple tabs?

No, no, i know that. I mean that I want it to use one set of modifiers in arena, and then have the same binds be another set of modifiers outside of arena

Like, in arena, A is garrote arena1, shift A is garrote arena 2, alt A is garrote arena 3.

Outside arena, A is straight garrote, shift A is focus garrote, and alt A is mouseover garrote.



Ideas or addons for that?
 
Idea. Replace the fucking macro with another when youve stopped arenas.



Edit: All trolling aside there is no macro or addon out there that can do this.

^This. I've played around with macros quite a bit and can't really think of anything that would even come close. Just make 2 macros as Mnkey suggested.

I was just really hoping that I wouldn't have to ;D
 
JUST CLICK LIEK ME AND IT WILL BE OK



PS:

1st macro, bind on A:



/target [@arena1]

/cast garrote



2nd macro, bind on shift-A:



/target [@arena2]

/cast garrote



etc



and with addons like bartender4 you can have 10 panels, just make few with those binds, drop its scale down to ~0.3 , put "click through" option and move those bars away
 
God knows. I tried being a clicker once, honestly I couldn't bring anyone below 80%, at 85lvl that is. But wasn't there that gladiator clicker mage who used to stream? Can't remember his name right now.
 
you can use script macros to change the layout of your UI, which in turn can change your macros/bindings. there's alot of people that do that. try searching UI scripts for world of warcraft.

Mm, the script macros sound interesting. I'll look them up.



And, @ everyone.. I know how to type all of these macros. I just don't like taking 30 seconds to swap out my macros once I get done playing arena xD

I can swap them out manually, it just gets frustrating. Since it is a private server, and everybody starts with s3 & full access to enchants \ gems, I will probably just make two characters, one for arena and one for world pvp\duels\etc



Also, if anyone knows a more populated 2.4.3 server then the arena-tournament one.. I'd be much obliged
