Sadly no I dont see any use for it beyond transmog,
50-59 bracket has access to a few scaled down wotlk/tbc dungeons.
So items with like 2-3+ sockets (same for most other pices).
Making "normal" itemized items quite weak.
Need something "off" with (un)balanced itemization to proc, an item with more stats than it should have. So epic foamspittle is a good example, tons of vers.
That or an item with a proc or on use that blizzard missed and have not tuned propperly.
You can just check whats available to 58s from the armory thread or the dungeons they can run.
