70 Shadowpriest Question

Hi, I'm thinking of making a level 70 shadowpriest twink on wotlk classic. Will I stand any chance vs red levels? Or will I need to go 79 to be able to hold my own. I want 70 because of the crazy secondary stats you can get.

Late response, but shadow priest is a class that still performs well at 70. It’s better scaling on resil and other secondary’s is a big + and the spell hit cap on my 70 dk to 79s seems to be 17% , which is surprisingly normal. I’m not 100% if more is needed on legitimate spell casters (I don’t see why there would be) but I have heard nothing that would point me in that direction anyways.
